“What are these patterned images near every comment?”
The images are so called ‘Identicons’. An Identicon is a randomly generated assortment of shapes (visual representation of a hash value) that is specific to a commenter’s email. Your email will not be published, but if you always use the same email while posting, the same Identicon will always be seen next to your commentaries. It’s your digital fingerprint. The advantage of the use of Identicons is that you don’t have to register to a site and still are distinguishable from other users.

“Why do you show ads on your site?”
It cost quite a lot of resources to build VBVBC.org. By showing some ads, we hope to earn back our investments and pay the bills for maintaining this site.
