Dear Bro.Jason W.Elder,Thank you for your introduction.
I posted a commentary in this site on Acts 2:36.Then I found some errors in quoting a reference. So I posted another commentary for the same verse pointing out the corrections to be made in the previous commentary. At that time I was led by the Spirit of God to quote the references of 1 Cor.1:17 &
1 Thes.1:5 in that second commentary as additions.(Please refer the two commentaries I have posted for Acts 2:36.Note the reference of 1 Cor.1:17 in the second one.)After posting the second commentary I visited the Home page to find that you have( just a few minutes prior to my time of posting my second commentary on Acts 2:36) posted a commentary on this verse.I was surprised to know that we were thinking of the same verse at the same time.I hope you have understood what I said.
Thanks Bro. Alex. Do you mean this commentary or are you working on a book? Oh, and I’m not a pastor but I do preach a little bit.

Dear Pastor J.W.Elder,Greetings to you. After making some corrections in my commentary (no.2)on Acts 2:36 & posting it(commentary no.3),I quoted this verse in it as addition. To my surprise you had written a commentary on this very verse at that time.I found it when I visited the Home Page.
Paul, by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, puts a distinction between “baptism” and “The Gospel.” “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel…”
Therefore, those who try to make baptism a part of the gospel and a part of salvation - are preaching “another gospel.” (Gal 1:6)

The context of v.17 was not to discount baptism or other duties required by the gospel. Paul was sent to preach the gospel and not necessarily administer it with his own hands.
The context of v.17 was to rebuke the Corinthians for exalting human names above Christ (see v.12).
It is a sad state of Christianity that we see today. Human names on all American 503 (c) non profit religious corporations. See Lutherans, Russelites, Campbelites, and all of the rest.

The strongest churches are these.
