Jason, you have not put any verse to back up that Eric has just said something that is “false doctrine”. Where is your Bible verse? Where is your argument? Just because you say something is false, doesn’t mean it is.
Acts 16:16 - He who believes AND is baptized shall be saved.
The water isn’t the one that takes away sins. It’s the conscious action of the person’s obedience combined with this water baptism that saves. You need to quote scripture to support that the statement by Eric is false.
It Is not me saying that Baptism saves. 1 Peter 3:21 talks about baptism being the vehicle by which people will enter unto the kingdom of God.
In the same way that Noah’s Ark was the vehicle in order to be saved from the flood, baptism is the vehicle to put us into Christ. Friends, this doctrine is undeniable. Only those who hate “obedience” to God denies what is so clear in the Bible.
If this is a “false doctrine” then this false doctrine is from God, because He is the Author of it.
Ga 3:26-27 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Paul talking to the Galatians says that the ONLY WAY TO PUT ON CHRIST IS BY BEING BAPTIZED.
This is exaclty what Paul is doing when he is baptizing the Jailer from Philippi and all his family…
Are we Better than God in order to prescribe a differnt commanment?
In The days of Pentecost the 3000 ask…What can we do to be saved? Peter orders them to be baptize, WHY? Acts 2:38-41.
Philip and The Eunuch when they came to some water He baptized him, WHY? Acts 8:36-40
Lydia when she believe with all her house she was baptized, WHY? Acts 16:15.
The Ephesians in Acts 19 when they were questioned by Paul about the baptism that they have recieved they were re-baptized in the baptism of Jesus, WHY?
Saul was told by Ananias: Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins. Is it me saying it or Ananians. Read the the Bible again and put in your mind and in your heart Acts 22:16. By being baptize is how our sins a removed and washed away. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. It Is only in baptism that we have contact with the blood of Jesus. Read Romans 6:3-6.
Paul is baptizing the jailer, WHY?
Why are teaching this?
Is it because baptism is optional as many are teaching?
Is it because baptism is just an outward testimony or expression of faith as many are teaching?
Is it because baptism is nothing but to place “membership” is a certain denomination?
If these are the reasons then God has failed.
THE REASON IS 1 PETER 3:21…baptism does NOW save us!
Jesus told Nicodemus, you MUST be born of WATER and the Spirit.
Friends, to what water is Jesus making reference to?
If this is a wrong doctrine then God has decieved and baptism is nothing but a theatrical action that men do just to impress others.

If water washes away sins, then they’re having revival down at Myrtle Beach. You could have at least picked a better verse than this to parrot your false doctrine.

We can see by this passage and many others that baptism is not an option but a commandment from Lord Jesus in order to recieve the promise of eternal life.
Every person that believes must be willing to obey Christ’s in baptism.
Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 3:21 Romans 6:3-6 they all talks about the need to be inmerse in water in order to recieve the pardon and forgiveness from God.

Greetings to Brothers.Eric Castillo,John.W.and Jason.W.Elder,in the name of our Lord& Saviour Jesus Christ. My point is that we must not underestimate the importance of the atonement sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sins.
John, the Baptist,Jesus and Peter have preached about repentance. That is an important point to be noticed.Matt.3:2;Acts 2:38;3:19.
“Without shedding of blood is no remission.”Heb.9:22.One has to understand the eternal redemption obtained by Jesus Christ through His blood.
Heb.9:12-22.The “Crucified Christ”must be preached to all.1 Cor.1:23.
“Water baptism” symbolizes as “being dead to our sinful life & resurrected to a new life in Christ”.Rom.6:4-6.The Bible does not give any indication that Water baptism is optional. But we must understand and present the “Gospel” clearly.May the Lord use all of you for the extension of His kingdom.I request you to go through the latest commentary (No.5) for
1 Cor.1:17.
May the Lord richly bless you.
