The verb tense in the original Greek indicates an ongoing process.
This was not the reason the Jerusalem church became poor.
We may not be able to follow fully in this life. It will, however, be done fully in heaven and this practice will be perfect or near perfect in the millenimu kingdom when Christ literally rules the earth.
It is a generous, voluntarty sacrificial giving as a result of the encounter with the Living Christ, under the full direction of the Holy Spirit.
But, be careful and live as close as possible to the Spirit, for you will see that Annanias and his wife fell into Satan’s trap.
Christ in us and we in Him
We are victors, but we are still in this world under Satan’s rulership.
