THIS VERSE AMOS 9:8 WAS MADE DURING THE TIME OF JEROBOAM II more or less about 828 B.C. and the prophesied destruction of the House of Israel-the sinful kingdom was fulfilled in 721 B.C.
The remnant of those who survived from this prophesied tragedy were scattered to the north and to the west and were known in history as the lost Ten Tribes of Israel.
