Reckoning a day as a year,Dr.Adam Clarke writing a commentary for this verse in 1825 A.D. predicted 1947 A.D.as an year of prophetic importance for the Jews.
Balfour Declaration of 1917 (dated Nov.1917) was a formal statement in favour of establishment of a national home for the Jewish people.
In Nov.1947,United Nations decided on the partition of Palestine into two two states one Jewish & the other Arab.
On May 14,1948,with the British Mandate ending,the Jewish National Council declared independent.
