The Wisest King,the Preacher- Son of David recording his words of wisdom…though he greatly sinned against God…

Psalm 45:9 describe Solomon in a positive manner as a man with “Daughters of kings are among your honored women; at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir.”

Jesus said Solomon had glory :Matthew 6:29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor …in all his glory…”

Jesus said Solomon was full of wisdom :Matthew 12:42tell us about Solomon’s wisdom, and how the Queen of the south traveled the hard way and very far place just to listen to Solomon.

1. Ecclesiastes (Greek)
a. “Koheleth” in Hebrew
b. Means one who convenes a meeting
2. Solomon, at the end of his earthly life
a. Provides us with his observations
b. And conclusions of life “under the Sun”
3. So please understand that as you read this book
a. For life is NOT always “puppies and flowers”
4. Without Jesus, life IS ultimately futile
a. And even WITH Jesus, life is puzzling many times
b. If not downright frustrating
5. So, come along, and let’s get real
a. And walk with Solomon
b. As he reflects on the VANITIES of life
