WHEN THE BREAD I CAST ON MANY WATERS RETURNED TO ME MANY FOLDS
I tell this story not to praise myself or to puff myself up; i tell this story to give a lesson to readers.
Since a child I have been always helpful of people; I gave and gave to help people; I gave and gave to make them happy. And God bless me, although the blessing was not like those which he gave to others; yet it also filled my cups to the brim and even overflowing. But then came the time when I became poor, that even some of my teeth fell off and my eyes dimmed till I became blind. Friends & relatives who I helped in the pasts seems to have forgotten those kindness I gave. Some even mocked me for being poor; treated me wickedly. No, I don’t mean I never went astray with God or that I was a perfect man in God’s sight; but I really did experience the badness of people in the days when I needed them help. While I have Goodwill through the years constantly in my heart for them; they have Ill will towards me which surprise me. Then everything went blank for me-I became blind. Thus, I just sat their in my house for more than a month waiting for what will happen next….with me and my family in danger of being rendered homeless since my house is mortgage with the Pag-Ibig Fund (a government insurance agency)…and so too my job which I was also about to lose. I gave up all hope and consigned myself to the mercy of God, neighbors, friends and even my relatives just looked at me, saying words of sympathy …but never made a move to help…they were just lookers!
But then when there was no one to help then God help me…he sent a man named ISAAC from New Zealand to my country the Philippines to help. I had only days to lose my job and become a squatter w/o a home…and God help me. The Lord remembered my kindness and he let it returned to my head several fold…He restored my sight and even bless me now! To God my Father and to Jesus my Savior thanks and praise for their grace & blessings! God’s Word is TRUTH and I am not ashamed of it!
