1. In this parable, wisdom trumps folly
a. But still is NOT fully appreciated over time
2. Gray hairs SHOULD be a sign
a. Of wisdom and humility
b. But unfortunately are not necessarily so
3. Give me a young man of few resources
a. But who is TEACHABLE any day
4. Rather than an older man of status
a. But who no longer listens to advice
5. There is no fool like an old fool
a. Who is OBSTINATE
b. And unwilling to humbly
c. Submit his thoughts to others
