1. The reason we are NOT
a. To get all bent out of shape at OTHERS
b. When they speak ill of us
c. Is because WE have ALL
d. Been GUILTY of doing the same
2. So learn to take criticism if it is true
a. And hopefully learn from it
3. But let it slide on by
a. If it is just somebody
b. Letting off steam
4. We do NOT need to retaliate
a. With swift vengeance
b. Upon others speaking ill of us
5. But we do owe the DEBT of LOVING each other
a. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law (Romans 13:8)
6. For loving one another is the only way we are going to survive
a. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins (Pro 10:12)
