1. Solomon did not take a fatalistic approach to wisdom
a. And just give up on
b. Seeking and employing it
2. He continued to use his God-given wisdom
a. To examine the world around him
3. He investigated the HOWS
a. And WHYS of wisdom
b. To the extent that he could
4. He also took a serious look at proving
a. Why good decisions
b. Are SUPERIOR to bad ones
c. And that being wicked is stupid
d. And that foolishness is insane
5. You would think people
a. Would chose right over wrong
6. They would, for one, have peace of mind
a. And for two and three
b. Not end up in jail or dead
7. But some people choose
a. To consistently make foolish choices
b. And gravitate toward the dark side
c. Of the human experience
d. Engaging in self-destructive behavior
e. Which injures themselves and those around them
8. You would think that EVERYBODY
a. Would want to live
b. An honest and wise life
9. But they evidently do NOT
a. And this fascinated Solomon
10. Solomon most likely observed their lives
a. And was satisfied that being wise
b. Is the BEST course in life to take
11. And those acting wickedly and foolish
a. Would lose at life
