One Bible Commentary on Ephesians 2: 13

1

The gentile converts, who are the uncircumcised, have received an unspeakable gift by being introduced into the church through Christ. They were once far away but now have been brought near to God through Christ. Cf v.11-13. Those who are near to God are the Jewish Christians. Cf. v.17.
