The Roman soldier was to put on the whole armor so he was ready for battle. In the same way, God supplies all we need for this battle against sin, which is the real battle.

Put on the whole armour of, Is have a complete set of things God has put on our disposal. That if the war starts you will be having full equipment to get into battlefield when evil comes. After the war is over you will be seen still firm knowing who God is.
