“And for me” suggests Paul had a strong conviction in the power of prayer by believers at Ephesus. Paul asked the saints at Ephesus to pray for him. Specifically, Paul asked them to pray that God give him the right words to say to preach the mystery doctrine of the gospel without fear.
Paul would not ask others to pray for him if prayer did not work. Believers should pray for their Pastor and others. They should also take every opportunity to ask others to pray for them also.
“Please pray for me.” How difficult was that?
