And, Roland McDonald, I truly enjoy hearing a fanatic’s defense (post 31). I have always been fascinated by anthropology.

1. A person does not have to believe anything that is not necesarily true, and I know people - like Roland Godless - who insist on believing things that AREN’T true. How smart is that? No I can’t go to God via a spacecraft. If I tried that God would confound my tongue or something, lol (remember the Tower of Babel?) But God gave me freedom of thinking and you are abolutely powerless to tell anyone what to believe or not believe in. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you - 1 Peter 5:6.

2. God sanctioned murderous acts OVER AND OVER again in the Torah. That’s all there is to say about that. I am not going to waste hundreds of lines to show you where. READ THE BIBLE. The facts speak for themselves. You lack one of two things: comprehension or honesty.

3. Jesus and Paul had great difficulty overcoming the laws of Moses. They had to choose their words carefully, e.g. starting a sermon about “fulfilling” and then proceed to CHANGING it (in the same sermon, mind you!) Or using the word “grace” to absolve the people from the old law. But this is too logical and so I can’t expect you to understand. I am glad Jesus changed everything, and I enjoy his treachings.

4. Yes I kinow what fanatics believe. Fanatics deceive only themselves.

Charles (Post #30): It is always great to hear an unbeliever’s point of view especially one with a high IQ. After all, to be a rationalist a person must be fairly intelligent. That said,

1. A person must believe Jesus is who He said He is to enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Can a person get in a spacecraft, travel beyond the Pleiades, and find the Kingdom of God? And, if that were physically possible, does God not post guards at its entry gates? Can a person physically die and find the kingdom of Heaven on His own? Who will guide him there. If God says an unbeliever cannot interpret God’s Word correctly because unbelievers do not have the Spirit of God that settles the matter. God is right. Charles Fiott is wrong.

2. I am glad you recognize words have different meanings. So before accusing God of sanctioning murderous acts look up the meanings of the Hebrew words. What man is there who would dare to judge God except an arrogant one.

3. Jesus Christ answered your questions long ago. He said He came to fulfill the law. He did not say He came to change it. So if you think Jesus changed it or gave a different instruction read again.

4. Jesus is not dead. Is it not written that Jesus resurrected from the dead? As an unbeliever you are entitled to believe Jesus is dead. You are also entitled to believe the Holy Bible is not holy, and is riddled with fables in a sea of contradictions. Believers believe the opposite. The Word of God is inspired of God. Jesus is alive and well and ever-present.
