The body of believers is one in Christ Jesus because they are in union with Him. God cannot destroy part of the body and have it continue to be one body. Believers are eternally secure(Gal. 3:28)

To be in union with Christ, to be a part of the Called Out Ones-the Church is nice like the church in the wilderness during the time of Moses. But being part of the Church, the scripture warns the believers:
“I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.”(Jude 1:
“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.”(Romans 11:20-21).
“Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”(Romans 11:22).
“He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful”.(John 15:2).
“So, If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall/… So that let him that thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.”(1 Corinthians 10:12).
The LORD called you a thriving olive tree with fruit beautiful in form. But with the roar of a mighty storm he will set it on fire, and its branches will be broken.”(Jeremiah 11:16).
