Gentleness and self-control - Having kindness in our hearts and we have mastered anger and rage. Not having a bad mood because of any situation. Not taking things out on others in our lives is a sin.
Some may justify their anger by calling it “righteous indignation”. Cf. Deut 29:28 (K.J.V.). When we honestly examine ourselves we do not have any good excuse to be angry. This kind of anger can only come as the result of preaching against sin.
