The word night in this verse means a twist away from the light,or adversity,in the hebrew language. the worf darkness is interesting to in the hebrew. It means,misery,death,destruction, and so forth.

This verse is talking about the sun and the moon, and it says that God found them to be good. So I can’t understand post 1 interpreting this as adversity, misery, death, destruction, and so forth!
