No, Angel, your genealogy is not correct (post 15). You have Seth listed as the son of Abel, and that’s not true. Your genealogy is NOT father-son because you included both Abel and Seth - two brothers - as if they were two separate generations and as if one was the other’s son. Perhaps the easiest way to explain it to you is that Abel is not anybody’s father and therefore he cannot be in any genealogy. But even if Abel had a son he would not be in Enos’ line. When you trace your ancestry you go to your father, then to the next father up the line. NOT to your uncle. Here is a website where you can see examples of how you set up a genealogy. There is only one slot per generation.

no charles; i did my genealogy right. the reason being is because abel was killed by cain who was adam’s first son and then god replaced abel with seth. according from eve; which she states in genesis 5:1. so my genealogy is correct.

it started from adam:
1. abel- his first son; killed by cain
2. seth- took abel’s position and was now adam’s first son; replaced by god as stated in genesis 5:1
3. enos
4. cainan
5. mahalaleel
6. jared
7. enoch- still in 7th position; as is yours
8. methuselah
9. lamech
10. noah

so it is still father-son only seth replaced abel because cain slew abel which is even stated in genesis 5:2 right after eve proclaims that god gave her seth to replace abel.

Hi Angel. I am glad to see you in your normal high spirits (post 13).

You are right in saying that you had talked about the serpent’s seed. I should have recognized that in my post 7. Most people focus on the woman’s seed only.

Okay, now about post 13. I know it is possible for twins to have different fathers, but:

1. “Possible” doesn’t mean it happened. You would have to show that Eve had sex with the devil in the same monthly cycle that she did with Adam. You said in your post you were going to CONFIRM this, and instead all you offer is a possibility which is infinitesimally small even today, with seven babies born every second, let alone with the very first offspring in all humanity!!

2. You base your case solely on interpreting “who was of the wicked one” in 1 John 3:12 as meaning that Cain was Satan’s son. This would contradict Gen. 4:1: “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD”. Angel, you have to admit that (a)” Adam knew his wife” means it was Adam’s sperm, i.e. not Satan’s, and (b) “I have gotten a man from the LORD” does NOT mean “I have gotten a man from SATAN”!! Genesis could not be more clear as to who Cain’s father was.

So, Angel!! The Bible has enough contradictions as it is; why add another one?

As I told you in another post, I think you should save your heteropaternal superfecundation theory to explain Joseph having two different fathers (in Matthew and Luke)!

Finally, it seems you are a little confused with genealogies. When documenting ancestry you go from father to son (or viceversa) ONLY. You DON’T include brothers and uncles and nephews. Enos, ancestor of Enoch, was the son of Seth - not of Cain, and certainly not of Abel. So if you’re tracing Enoch’s ancestry you have to leave out both Cain and Abel (as you also leave their other brothers and the brothers of Enos and of Cainan, etc.) Here is your genealogy:
1. Adam
2. Seth
3. Enos
4. Cainan
5. Mahalaleel
6. Jared
7. Enoch

Now in your post #12; you state that Cain is the seed(son) of adam. When the bible clearly states that Cain is not the son of Adam at all but The seed(son) of satan. You know the wicked one. This is stated in 1 John 3:12. Listed below. So please explain who the wicked one is then.

HETEROPATERNAL SUPERFECUNDATION - Twins with Different Fathers
As technology has improved the accuracy and accessibility of genetic testing, it has become more evident that twins can have two different fathers. The situation only applies to fraternal (dizygotic) twins, not identical (monozygotic) twins, which form from a single egg/sperm combination.

However, fraternal twins are the result of hyperovulation, the release of multiple eggs in a single cycle. Superfecundation describes a situation where the eggs are fertilized by sperm from separate incidences of sexual intercourse. In a case where a woman has sex with different partners, the twins could have different fathers. The appropriate term to describe this situation is heteropaternal superfecundation.

Heteropaternal superfecundation was responsible for Abel being the son of Adam and Cain being the son of the serpent. It is very rare in humans, though more common in other animals. This is primarily due to the predominance of 1:1 heterosexual partner pairings among humans. A woman who has sexual relations with two or more men at short intervals within the same ovulatory period can be impregnated by both men.

Superfecundation is the fertilization of two or more ova from the same menstrual cycle by sperm from separate acts of sexual intercourse. The term is also sometimes used to refer to the instances of two different males fathering fraternal twins, though this is more accurately known as heteropaternal superfecundation. This therefore leads to the possibility of twins also being half-siblings. Homopaternal superfecundation is the term fraternal twins.

Superfecundation most commonly happens within hours or days of the first instance of fertilization with ova released during the same cycle. Ovulation is usually suspended during pregnancy to prevent further ova becoming fertilized and to help increase the chances of a full term pregnancy. SO NOW; we see that Heteropaternal superfecundation occurs when two different males father fraternal twins. When the parents of fraternal twins are involved in a paternity suit, the odds are about 1 in 40 that the children are actually half-siblings. Heteropaternal superfecundation is common in animals such as cats and dogs. Stray dogs often produce litters in which every puppy has a different father.

Though rare in humans, many cases have been documented. In 1810, American physician John Archer documented a case in which a white woman gave birth to mixed twins—one white, one mixed-race—after having sex with a black man and a white man within a short time. In 1994 a woman gave birth to twin girls named Skylar and Ariana who have different fathers. In June 2008, a Texas woman gave birth to fraternal twins fathered by different men. In that case, a DNA test concluded that there was a 99.999 percent chance that the twins had different fathers. The twins’ mother acknowledged having had intercourse with more than one man in a short period of time close to the conception date.

Angel, you started here not too long ago with very friendly comments for which you received some well deserved praise. But lately I am seeing quite a negative transformation in you. You are getting angry. In post 8 you resorted to unfriendly language and uncalled-for accusations. Something is getting under your skin.

Angel, you might think you have explained the serpent’s seed at some time, but you based all arguments on the assumption that the serpent was not a serpent - or snake - or animal. That’s an assumption, not a fact. Some Bible purists claim that Genesis explains how the snake lost its legs, i.e. the serpent was a real snake.

I don’t always have time to read through long postings, but glancing at post 9 I saw you saying that Cain is the serpent’s (Satan’s) seed? Is that your final answer? (You’re sure you don’t want a lifeline or whatever they have in those game shows?) Now how ridiculous can this get? The Bible tells us that Cain is Adam’s seed. Are you saying then that Adam was Satan?

SO OBVIOUSLY WE KNOW FROM GENESIS 3:14-16 GOD IS TALKING TO EVE AND THE SERPENT ONLY!!! So why does verse 16; talk about birth right after GOD tells eve and the serpent what GOD himself is about to do forever more? Why does 1 john 3:12 say cain is from the wicked one instead of adam? Why does it say in jude 1:14 say enoch was the 7th from adam? For if cain was from adam enoch would of been the 8th son and not the 7th son/7th generation?

Hello Gentlemen:
I have discussed this before with charles in Genesis 3:6. Let me explain something. The serpent was not a serpent as we see and know. He was cursed by God to crawl on his belly. Why would the scripture say as stated that GOD cursed him above all cattle and every other beast of the field. Did GOD not know the difference between a mammal and a reptile. That is because this creature was created by GOD to tempt EVE and to lay with her and to conceive a child through Eve. For then eve laid with adam right away as well. Science has proved a woman can conceive TWINS from two different father’s. Did you ever notice eve came after all creation? Why? She was never part of the original creation. She was taken out of adam so he could have a mate as the rest of all creation. Also doesn’t the bible say that the devil shall imitate GOD in every way to almost deceive the elect. This is were the story of REDEMPTION was manifested. For sin had to be introduced.

Also there is no such thing as Darwin’s so called evolution. Because if all things are always evolving; why has man stopped? You might say that we haven’t. Then explain all the renaissance paintings, roman sculptures, and all the other evidence that man has remained the same for so long then. Shouldn’t we be above and beyond. As well as every creature. Or does evolution stop when we meet every requirement of your surrounding environment. And when our environment changes does that mean so do we. Well, the environment has been changing for a long time now and we haven’t changed and neither has the animals. For there is a difference between the meaning of evolution and adaptation. Which man has been doing since adam. I know your an evolutionist charles and a devout catholic. And that’s why you support the septuagint. But i already commented on that subject as well. For you said ( monkeys are kinfolk. ) So then it wasn’t an apple or peach Eve ate. It was a BANANA. So I want to be clear on this evolution theory according to man’s belief of evolution. Because it doesn’t fit to GOD’S WORD. So this is what it basically boils down to that man was a monkey/ape created in the image of a GODLY MONKEY/APE and when GOD became more evolved we evolved with GOD to our current human stature. So the bible is wrong when it states ALL SHALL PRODUCE THE SAME SEED THAT THEY ARE. Now we do know as well that man has a hybrid for everything. Hybrid is when you take the original and mix it to create something we believe to be superior to the original.

Genesis 1:24-26
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Did you notice MAN CAME AFTER EVERY ANIMAL WAS CREATED. Or how about this verse as well.

Genesis 2:19
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

So what happened here. Did Adam look in a mirror to name himself ape or monkey because the whole time I thought his name was Adam as GOD was calling him. Or was GOD wrong here as well? Or was the monkey/ape named Adam?

NOW, do you believe the bible is GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD that NEVER FAILS and is WOVEN TOGETHER LIKE A BLANKET. If yes here is the scripture to prove it… isaiah 28:10. Which states the word of GOD shall and will be law upon law, verse by verse, over here and over there. You see GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD. Now do you understand SCRIPTURE RUNNING/CONTEXTS? You know where one verse leads you to another for a further understanding and revelation of GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD.

Ok now on to genesis 3:1-24 and ( genesis 4:1-24 and genesis 5:1-32 ). Now the serpent was never a snake or cold blooded creature/reptile. He was a mammal/like man on earth/beast of the field. Mammal means a warm blooded/vertebrate/where the females create milk through mammary glands to nourish their young/four chambered heart n lungs which are separated by a diaphragm from the other organs within the body/etc.

Now in genesis 3:1-5. We find this out about the serpent. He was able to speak/understand/was very intelligent/was very attractive. Which is described of satan’s beauty in ezekiel 28:13-17. And now you ready for this. Serpent looked and acted like man but had no life in him for he was a warm blooded/vertebrate animal and he deceived eve with his false teachings of GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD. Did you notice the serpent knew GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD.

Now the apple WAS NOT the fall of EVERYTHING… SEX WAS… THIS IS THE FIRST AND ORIGINAL SIN. How you ask. Read 1 john 2:16 to understand genesis 3:6. For isn’t lust of the eyes for the flesh of man/woman. Is it not a physical attraction between the two. A false sense of beauty through the eye’s.

Now lets continue on to genesis 3:15 where; GOD PUTS ENMITY BETWEEN THY SEED (SATAN/SERPENT’S SEEDS) AND HER SEED (GOD’S SEED/JESUS) AND HER SEED SHALL BRUISE THY HEAD (SATAN/SERPENT’S SEED) AND THOU (SATAN/SERPENT’S SEED) SHALL BRUISE HIS HEEL (GOD’S SEED/JESUS). You see satan entered into the serpent that looked like man and possessed him and spoke to eve for no one else knew the WORD OF GOD at that time besides GOD/adam/eve… and satan.

Remember the great battle n fall from heaven and why it happened. If you don’t believe this then explain these scriptures… isaiah 14:12-14… ezekiel 28:12-19… revelation 12:7-17. Explain these scriptures to me then. Especially ezekiel 28:12-19. How could tyre be in the garden of eden. It wasn’t tyre but satan.

Now back to genesis 3:15… to serpent’s seed. If you run the scriptures/contexts it leads you to john 8:44. Also read 1 john 3:8-12. There you have serpent’s seed/satan’s seed
( children ).

Now her seed… GOD’S SEED ( CHILDREN )/JESUS… run the scriptures/contexts which leads u to isaiah 7:14. Also read it fulfilled in matthew 1:23.

You see this is GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD WHICH NEVER FAILS. Isn’t it said in the bible that EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD SHALL PASS AND BE DESTROYED EXCEPT FOR GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD WHICH LIVES FOR ALL ETERNITY.

Now back to genesis 3:15. About the bruising. Once again run the scriptures/contexts which leads you to romans 16:20. YOU SEE THE WORD OF GOD NEVER FAILS. So cain is serpents seed/ satan’s children and abel is GOD’S CHILDREN. That is why genesis 4 is cain’s seed. Which is satan’s/serpent’s seed and genesis 5 is GOD’S CHILDREN. GOD is showing us a division between the two separate seeds. Since the garden even until now. GOD NEVER CHANGES. HE IS ALWAYS PERFECT…IN ALL THINGS.

shame on you for lying like that. I have been discussing genesis 3:6 and genesis 3:14-16 to you for quite some time now. Who the serpent seed is. I POSTED THIS IN GENESIS 3:14. ALSO IN GENESIS 3:6. Strong opinions about the woman’s seed, but I don’t think anybody has taken a shot at who the serpent’s seed might be.

In Genesis 3:15 too we have the prophetic reference of woman seed, “her seed” To me, linguistically speaking, seed means desendent.

A woman is named as progenitor in the phrase “her seed”. Normally, the Bible references a male progenitor such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob or David. Jesus had a unique origin with an early mother but no earthly father.

I take this opportunity to explain what I had in mind when I used the term “BLOOD LINE” in post 2.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:God was manifest in the flesh…” 1 Tim.3:16.Read John 1:14.
God had made a covenant with David.He promised a “house” and a “dynasty”
which will last for ever.Read 2 Sam.7:16. Upon this promise,the hope of a Messiah was founded.There are many O.T. prophecies which predicted that the Messiah would come in the lineage of David.Isaiah 4:2;11:1;Jer.23:5,6;
33:14-16;Eze.37:24;(Zach.3:8;6:12).
In Isaiah 9:6,7 we find the prophecy of “The Mighty God” occupying the throne of David & establishing an eternal kingdom.

For the fulfillment of the promise of God made to David,Jesus has to come in the line of David as the Messiah.
Joseph was the son of David.Matt.1:20.He was of the house & lineage of David.Luke 2:4.
But a problem arises because of the prophecy of Jeremiah in Jer.22:30:
“Thus saith the Lord,write ye this man childless,a man that shall not prosper in his days:for no man of his seed shall prosper,sitteth upon the throne of David,and ruling anymore in Judah.”This prophecy is about the king Coniah,the son of Jehoiakim.(Jer.22:24)His name is mentioned as Jechoniah in 1 Chr.3:16.He was the Jehoiachin mentioned in 2 Kings 24:15.He was taken captive to Babylon.His name was mentioned as Jechonias in Matt.
1:12.
In 1 Chr.3:5,we read, “And there were born unto him(David)
in Jerusalem;Shimea,and Shobab,Nathan and Solomon;four of Bathshua,the daughter of Ammiel.”In Matthew 1,we find the royal line of Jesus Christ through Solomon,David’s son.But Jeremiah’s prophecy in Jeremiah 22:30 hindered Jesus from coming in the line of Coniah(Jechonias)as the Messiah.
How the problem can be solved?
Joseph took Mary as his wife and he knew her not till she had brought forth her first born son (Jesus).Read Matthew 1:24,25.Joseph became the legal father of Jesus as he had married Mary.
In Luke 3,we find the genealogy of Mary.She also came in the line of David- but through his another son Nathan.(Luke 3:31;1 Chr.3:5).The virgin birth of Jesus Christ has solved the problem arisen because of the prophecy of Jeremiah and enabled the fulfillment of the promise made to David in 2 Sam.7:16.
Please read what the angel told Mary in Luke 1:31-33:”And thou shalt conceive in thy womb,and bring forth a son,and shalt call his name JESUS.He shall be great,and shall be called the son of the highest:and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever;and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
Jesus is the seed of the woman.He was made of the seed of the David according to the flesh.
Jason,there is no controversy regarding the power & the preciousness of the BLOOD OF JESUS.Matthew26:28;Rom.3:25;Eph.1:7;2:13;Col.1:20;Heb.9:12,14;
1 Pet.1:18,19;Rev.1:5.

Pardon me but I think you could have used a better choice of words when you said, “The BLOOD LINE of Jesus Christ is mentioned in Luke.”

I understand what you’re saying, that Jesus was born of a woman. But though Mary gave Him His bottle, I believe God gave Him His blood. Let me know what you think.

“…the church of GOD, which HE hath purchased with HIS OWN BLOOD.” (Ac 20:28)

In the Gospel of Matthew,the genealogy of Joseph is given in Matthew 1.
In the Gospel of Luke,the genealogy of Mary is given in Luke 3.
Jesus Christ is the seed of the woman.
The virgin birth of Jesus Christ can be understood by going through these two genealogies.
The legal & royal line of Jesus Christ is mentioned in Matthew.
The blood line of Jesus Christ is mentioned in Luke.
See the prophecy of Isaiah in Isaiah 7:14.
“But when the fulness of the time was come,God sent forth his Son,made of a woman,made under the law.”-Gal.4:4.The prophecy about the virgin birth of Jesus Christ has been fulfilled.
“Forasmuch then as the children of flesh and blood,he also himself likewise took part of the same;that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death,that is,the devil.” -Heb.2:14.Read Col.2:15;2 Tim.1:10.
“…..For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8.

Cold Hearted Snake:
Gen 3:14-15
It is not clear to me if the serpent lost it’s legs and became a snake at this point. It may have already been without legs. Perhaps the actual curse was for it to eat dust since there would have been no dust if paradise remained. Also, there is no problem holding an animal accountable for it’s actions. If a predator comes out of the wild or escapes from a zoo and attacks a person, then it must be put down (partly because it develops a taste for human blood). Then in verse 15 the serpent is Satan. In fact, this is the first Messianic prophesy! Scholars point to “her seed; it shall bruise thy head”. When speaking in symbolic terms of reproduction, it is the man who provides the seed. So the seed of a woman is Jesus who was born of a virgin. Satan will harm Messiah by striking at His heel, but it is He who will prevail by striking the head. As soon as we have the fall, we have the promise of redemption.
