Genesis 3: 4 Commentary

THE FIRST MAJOR LIE & THE SUBSEQUENT BIG LIES THEREAFTER

When our first parents, Adam & Eve, were created more or less in 4158 B.C. just barely 6000 years ago, the Enemy told them the FIRST MAJOR LIE!

God has his own reason for allowing that to happen.Post#1 which my nemesis posted tries to put god in a bad light, blaming God like He was just an ordinary man. Whatever the reason or reasons of God are, we can surmise from the scriptures.The key is to TRUST God, to trust Him in His Word!

Look at what happened because our first parent did not trust His Word-the ENEMY was able to deceived them to cause them miseries, pain and even death; which we their descendants still suffer as a consequence.

The devil made that first lie that even if we don’t listen to the Words of God, we won’t die! But that was a lie! So we die! And God through His mercy have sent the 2nd Adam to give us a chance to live forever!

The devil from that time have made many lies to ensnare and entangle people so that they won’t grow into the image and stature of their Savior; what are those BIG BIG LIES? Here I enumerate some:

1. ON FOOD-it is commonly taught that all creatures were made to be eaten.And that since salvation is not dependent upon whether we obey Leviticus 11 or not-that it is okay for us to transgress God’s Word on Food; That the New Testament had nailed God’s Laws on Food (Leviticus 11 & etc.). But if we investigate meticulously and study Leviticus 11 and the scriptures we will be agreeing with God that the list He made of abominable creatures not fit for food is full of wisdom. We see the effects on health because of the transgression of God’s Laws on Food-death too early or with so much pain because of the uncleanness of one’s diet.

2. ON FEASTS-it is fashionable among Christendom to think that they are smart enough not to be conned by their enemy. So when you tell them that we should celebrate God’s Festivals-they look at you as somewhat a backward beginner in the Bible or you belong to an old obsolete religion or something. But how wrong they are. For instead of celebrating God’s Festival and studying these blueprint of the good things that coming- the Big picture of God’s Redemption Plan; these conned individuals are made to celebrate lies. They celebrate supposedly the birth of Christ on Christmas while never seeing the big red man with his dwarfs laughing at them HO HO HO! They celebrate All Saints Day while all around them people dress like witches, devils and imaginary creatures makes revelries… seeking first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness involves studying and observing the 7 Feasts of God’s Kingdom. Every kingdom have Feasts; whose Feasts would you want to celebrate, that of God’s Kingdom or that of man’s kingdom?

3. ON MARRIAGE & FAMILY- where God allowed men to have a patriarchal family with a man having several wives and children from his wives-Christendom have departed from the faith and have listened to enticing spirits outlawing these way of life. The lie among them is that IT IS A SIN FOR A MAN TO HAVE SEVERAL WIVES! You wonder how blind they are, while their NUCLEAR FORM OF FAMILY-made popular only during the Second Wave Society/ Industrial society- are toppling like dominoes but they are unaware of the deception. Why? Because they donot love the Lord their God with all their hearts neither do they study His Word with zeal-neither are they obsessed with His Word. I have posted a lot of commentaries regarding this matter…

4. ON THE SABBATH DAY- while God tells us to remember the 7th Day, Christendom have been deceived that the Sabbath day is the First day of the Week. The Mother church have made the change…she is no widow she said….and as a mother she change Our Father’s commandment to mean a different thing. And her children and the children of her daughters have swallowed that LIE w/o question. With her conniving with the BUSINESSMEN and putting a STAR -A SUN or an ASTERIS -on all their merchandise making herself rich and these businessmen…she says I SIT A QUEEN and shall see no sorrow!

5. ON LOVE -gone are the days when wives and mothers were martyrs; gone are the days when she was a saint. Now we have many godly women acting like Jezebels never for a moment do they doubt that they are missing the mark on how the holy women of old behave. These women think that LOVE is a feeling…so when they lost that feeling for their husband and children-off she go…”gone in the mist of the day” never never to know” HOW TO LOVE!

Love is not a feeling it is an act of our will! As 1 Corinthian 13 tells us-Love never ends-it hopes, it bears- that the object of love would become like unto god-good, righteous and loving. It is this kind of love that is sadly lacking amongst us today. In its place is the water down kind of love-the Valentine day’s love!

Here I stop, there are many other lies that the devil plays; even deceiving the Very Elect of the believers-hope you will see! Wake up sleepers!

THE DEVIL WANTS TO WORK INCOGNITO

Not only does the devil make people doubt the truthfulness of the Words of god, but he also wants to appear like he doesn’t exist. The devil is the most subtle of the enemies of the believers in God, so be watchful!

I am sure that Adam and Eve would have sinned even without the help of the serpent. God of course knew that if you tell someone not to do something, they are going to do it - especially something in the middle of the garden where they probably passed by all the time! This story always smelled like a trap to me.

The serpent was only added into the mix because the story needed a villain.
