A very prominent TV preacher/teacher stated this week that the last phrase of Genesis 4:26 according to some rabbinic sources,is mistranslated. It reads, “Then men began to call upon the name of the LORD.” This supposedly should read, “Then men began to profane the name of the LORD.” In other words, it was the beginning of apostacy.I am looking for any of these rabbinic sources.
