Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

This condemning response from the Lord shows that there must have been something sinful in Hezekiah’s attitudes in displaying his wealth. No such condemnation is made of Solomon’s displaying his wealth and wisdom to the queen of Sheba (1 Ki 10:1-9).
