The doubling appears to be for emphasis. Note also the doubling of “the wicked” and “the unrighteous man” which I would not think are separate entities.

My main question, not necessarily a commentary, is about the double reference to God - In some versions Lord is Jehovah, but when I was studying it, it was confusing. Does Lord refer to God? Is it a future glimpse at God the Son, Jesus? “return unto the LORD, . . . and to our God . . . Is that two different Entities? Or said twice to stress, or is to some person, a Lord of the house - probably not this one. I don’t know . . . The main point, I realize, is return to God who will forgive us if we have a repentant heart.

The doublet is for emphasis and is poetic technique to show a different aspect or character trait.
Thus: “The LORD” is YHWH, who is the personal Creator, who loves you and wants you to return to a loving relationship with him.
And Then: “Our God” is the Elohim, the Ultimate Judge over life and death, who desires to provide mercy in judgement instead of the deserved punishment.
So seek the LORD (who loves you) and in his role as Judge will pardon you from eternal death.
