No matter how skeptics or atheists or unbelievers deny it or goes against what is written, the prophecy of the increase of God Government will come!
It will be a useless word on their part for they are against God & His Eternal Word . The prophecy is sure!
And while Christians prays to God “Thy Kingdom Come…for thine is the Kingdom, the Power , the glory forever and ever…a guy named Charles who claims to believe in Jesus but not on the Biblical God…tries to oppose the prayer for God’s Kingdom to come on Earth! What do you think is his reason for always opposing what is clearly said in the scriptures?
Psalm 2:2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.
Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Contrary to what Isaiah said, there would be no increase of his government or endless peace. In the OT many people were expecting a great king for Israel who who recapture adjacent nations (”increase of his government”). In the NT many people hoped that king would be Jesus. But, as Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” - John 18:36.

Isaiah is dreaming of a perfect government under David or, perhaps, his successors. Obviously his dream did not come true.
A perfect government we will have, but it will not be under David, nor under any other kingdom or democratically elected government. It will be the Kingdom of God.

This is like Christ’s prophecy that the world would end of the world would come in his generation. His generation passed and, last time I checked, the world is still here. Same with Isaiah’s dreams of new conquests for David’s Israel. Nope! Didn’t happen either.
