Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Roland G. No, believers are as sinful as unbelievers. But there is a difference…believers have a mirror to know what sin is while unbelievers have none. And believers are told not to become yoke again from sin for they have been made free while unbelievers are slaves of sin.

James is indeed addressing believers, he reminds them/us of the shortness of life and NOT TO BOAST THAT THEY WILL DO SOMETHINGS TOMORROW…FOR THEY DONOT HOLD TOMORROW…IT IS ALL DEPENDENT ON GOD’S WILL-this is what i am showing to all that hold on to the doctrine of ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVE. As tomorrow depends on God even our being saved depend upon Him! And if we become a SPOKESMAN/ TEACHER for God and His will, let us not put Word on His Mouth that He did not say!

Give me the verses that says your ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVE DOCTRINE-if you have any.

Monsieur Tiuche (Post #5): James is addressing believers (James 4:7,8; 4:11). You thought believers are immune from sin?

Roland G. Do you not know that the unfaithful believers which are adulterers and adulteresses cannot enter the kingdom of heaven? NBut you say they are saved and will always be saved. Are there such a saved unfaithful belivers who is outside of the Kingdom of heaven?
You (A)adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with (B)the world is (C)hostility toward God? (D)Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Is there such a thing as an enemy of God that had been saved and will always be saved, i cannot understand your logic!

Monieur Tiuche (Post #3): The sin unto death is a disgrace for the loser believer and never a blessing. Unfaithful believers are adulterers or adulteresses (James 4:4).

Roland G. I thought it was a blessing to be early up there? You mean you rather stay here longer on earth than to be with the Lord? If such is the case for unfaithful believers would that not be a blessing?

Life is short, but the lives of unfaithful believers are shorter. Unfaithful believers get an early recall into Heaven. They lose out on blessings in time and eternity.

ONE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED- BEWARE OF THIS DOCTRINE !BOASTING ABOUT TOMORROW like declaring in general term the sweeping declaration that all believers in Christ are” once saved always saved” does not square at all with right spiritual sense.

The Scriptures tells us:For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.(verse 14)…yes, it is the will of God that all should be saved and not perish…but we are being warned not to boast of tomorrow. Boasting in tomorrow that all Christians will be save…is being swift in words (Proverb 29:20); it is declaring in advance what God had not said…why the warning to Christians about making sure of salvation if they were once saved always save? i’D SAY IT WAIT ON THE LORD and donot run ahead of Him nor speak ahead of him less we be found as liars or fools!

A FOOL IS REVEALED BY HIS SPIRIT—Proverbs 14:16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident…over confidence that is the mark of a fool! While Jesus says, WATCH AND PRAY!…the fool goes on with his foolishness…confident of being a wise virgin…while the Bible says “Make sure of all things”…the fool doesn’t mind if he has chips in his armor…or his doctrines are somewhat crooked..or even his foundation is a mixed of iron and clay…he is overconfident and in a trance-probably from the wine of jezebel and her spell!
