Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

One Bible Commentary on James 4: 8

1

We draw near to God by confessing sin and studying God’s Word. The goal of every believer is to learn and apply God’s ways to experience. Believers who waver between God’s ways and Satan’s ways show divided interests or loyalties. God draws near to believers who are loyal to His way of thinking as revealed in the Holy Bible.
