2 Bible Commentaries on Job 31: 9

WHEN THE MOON IS FULL DO WOMEN BECOME A LITTLE CRazY? Does their logic go haywire?

Well it was February 14, 2012 and they are celebrating the “Christian” Valentines Day with the bishop of the city reminding the flocks not to forget that their celebration of this should be in the Christian context…I donot know if the moon was full then last night….i forgot to look at the sky…what with all the red hearts posted and the flowers being sent to love ones.

I was with the first woman and I asked her ” Did you when your card game?” She answered “:Grrrrr!&*^%#$@)({:”+0987654321=GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!” What was that? Was the moon full!

Then outside I asked the second woman, “Do you want to eat Burger!”" Yes”, she said and added “I don’t feel well I have my period now!” So I ordered burger for her, but after the saleslady handed us the burger, she won’t eat. So I eat my burger…then she asked me, “What is that foot long hotdog?” You want to eat one I asked? No, she said, my lower abdomen donot feel good because of my period. So I continued eating…then she asked me again “What is that beefy hotdog?” I asked her you like to eat one?” Yes”, she said. So I order one for her but when the saleslady give it to her she did not eat it.

While walking home I told & asked her, “You are planning to buy some things in the drugstore, it might be closed. Then she answered, IT IS NOT CLOSED!&^*%$#@!)({}?>GRRRRRRRRRR! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! What was that? Was the moon full?

Sometimes I believe there is a truth to the saying that WOMEN ARE CRAZY!Here is a song for the women that I love that I wish would wake up and be conformed to the image of their Savior & Lord. Listen to Billy Joel “She’s always a woman to me!”:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNZeGnV43ys&feature=fvst

She can kill with a smile
She can wound with her eyes
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies
And she only reveals what she wants you to see
She hides like a child,
But she’s always a woman to me

She can lead you to love
She can take you or leave you
She can ask for the truth
But she’ll never believe you
And she’ll take what you give her, as long as it’s free
Yeah, she steals like a thief
But she’s always a woman to me

CHORUS:
Oh–she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants
She’s ahead of her time
Oh–and she never gives out
And she never gives in
She just changes her mind

And she’ll promise you more
Than the Garden of Eden
Then she’ll carelessly cut you
And laugh while you’re bleedin’
But she’ll bring out the best
And the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself
Cause she’s always a woman to me
–Mhmm–

Bridge

CHORUS:
Oh–she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants
She’s ahead of her time
Oh–and she never gives out
And she never gives in
She just changes her mind

She is frequently kind
And she’s suddenly cruel
She can do as she pleases
She’s nobody’s fool
And she can’t be convicted
She’s earned her degree
And the most she will do
Is throw shadows at you
But she’s always a woman to me
–Mhmm–

Notice what Barnes Notes on the Bible, it states regarding Job 31:9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman - If I have been enticed by her beauty. The word rendered “deceived” פתה pâthâh means to open, to expand. It is then applied to that which is open or ingenuous; to that which is unsuspicious - like a youth; and thence is used in the sense of being deceived, or enticed; Deuteronomy 11:16; Exodus 22:16; Proverbs 1:10; Proverbs 16:29. The word “woman” here probably means a married woman, and stands opposed to “virgin” in ver. 1. The crime which he here disclaims is adultery, and he says that his heart had never been allured from conjugal fidelity by the charms or the arts of a woman.

Or if I have laid wait at my neighbor’s door - That is, to watch when he would be absent from home. This was a common practice with those who were guilty of the crime referred to here; compare Proverbs 7:8-9.

Notice that the word “woman” in the Bible did mostly refer to a married girl and not a virgin…meaning if a girl is married hence she had become a woman…her husband is Lord over her and belongs to him…therefore other men are off limit to have sex or to know her caresses. For a man to desire even just in his heart a married girl or a woman is adultery!

Matthew 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman with lust, he has already committed adultery…This is what Job 31:9 means.
