1. Jesus came into an ALREADY condemned world
a. In order to save mankind from it
2. His primary purpose was SAVING mankind
a. Not in condemning the world to hell
3. Hopefully nobody preaching the Gospel
a. Will ever miss that critical point
4. The Gospel is the ‘Good News’
a. That Jesus came to save
5. It is NOT just the BAD news
a. That we are all sinners
b. On our way to hell
6. This is why we must preach
a. Both Law AND Gospel
7. People DO need to know (Law)
a. That they are already guilty
b. Before a just and holy God
8. But they ALSO need to know (Gospel)
a. That there is the GOOD NEWS
b. Of ETERNAL LIFE in Jesus
c. By simply believing in Him
d. As the satisfactory payment
e. Of our sins upon Calvary’s Cross
