Re post 2. It’s about giving the seed to Molech’s followers. Same thing. God wants us to stone people for this and for many other inbfringements. See Lev. 20:9-10, Deut. 17, etc etc.

THIS VERSE TALKS ABOUT giving your children as offering to Molech, per an extract from Matthew Henry commentary:(source:http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Leviticus+20%3A2&version=KJV )
. Parents abusing their children, by sacrificing them to Moloch, Lev. 20:2, 3. There is the grossest absurdity that can be in all the rites of idolatry, and they are all a great reproach to men’s reason; but none trampled upon all the honours of human nature as this did, the burning of children in the fire to the honour of a dunghill-god. It was a plain evidence that their gods were devils, who desired and delighted in the misery and ruin of mankind, and that the worshippers were worse than the beasts that perish, perfectly stripped, not only of reason, but of natural affection. So if I marry a non-Christian will I be stoned?
This is one of numerous excerpts in the Bible that no Christian heeds today. Are we ignoring the Word of God? Does anybody here think we should heed such verses?

What I said in Post 4 also applies to post 3 as well. Regardless of how you translate “seed unto Molech”, the point is that the punishment is death by stoning. The God of the OT was a cruel one. The God of the NT is thankfully a very different and much kinder one.
