Angel: Remember the friends of Job who gave advice to Job when the godly man was tested? would you recall that their advice and words were mostly right yet off tangent with regards to the case of Job? so…we maybe using good medicines but not for the right sickness! Takes two to tango! We may be mouthing the Word of God but if it is out of sync with what we are trying to examine and probe or question then that won’t profit us at all. Every Word of God is like a tool…each one has it purpose…select your tools carefully when probing and don’t be so sure you already know the answer(s)…proceed cautiously…remember your comments are written…it is like making a trail

tuiche:

i am sorry if i offend; but so did our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

for i am not swinging the sword carelessly or ignorantly. i know i come off strongly but i choose to; only to those who are my brothers and sisters in our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

i apologize if you felt as if i was stating you were going to hell; for i love you as a brother in CHRIST; but i despise those dogmas of man.

Angel: Now you call me your brother? I thought i was a “devil’s chaplain”?

No offense meant on those words i just said. I indeed also consider you as a brother howbeit- as a little brother in need of milk not heavy meat. I believe you are quite physically young yet and have not experienced what those older than you have experienced. I am not saying that you got no experience or as you told Tractorman “GOD’S EXPERIENCE”. You indeed have experience the wonder and power of the WORD OF GOD, but like a little child or a rookie you are using THAT SWORD which is sharper than a two edged sword w/o regards or even vainly. Probably like a Don Quixote trying to fight your imagined foes-which sometimes turn out as your elder brother in Christ wounding them or perhaps some little brothers younger than you spiritually!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS A RAMBLER? A DON QUIXOTE? A BABBLER?

Now i donot say that I am spiritually mature than you, or Scott or Tractorman or Ronald G or T Snow or Candace…but won’t you at least look and compare carefully? We all love you here as a brother in Christ…but please use YOUR SWORD CAREFULLY & EFFECTIVELY and not like a clanging piece of steel that sends out unclear messages with your billions of sweeping and clanging on your imaginary foes! God bless!

SCOTT DALE AND TUICHE:

first off; brother scott dale i love your little twisted humor on my wordings. i love that even on this site we can be hilarious. you made me laugh….. thank you.

and as for you brother tuiche i love many things you say and your patience as well…… thank you.

first off; tuiche you stated i was a player of words and that sometimes i don’t know what i am saying or how it impacts others; the truth is i do know and therefore i say it as a means to make others stop, look, to think, and to question what is the truth and to send them on a discovery of GOD’S truth.

you also said i was young and lack the experience. well i beg to differ and i can prove it by scriptures.

there was once one; while; in the womb of his mother that leapt for joy for recognizing that not far from him was our LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. in the womb of mary; indwelled in an embryo; was GOD in flesh in a baby boy.

one is never to young. for when we take on the yoke of our LORD JESUS CHRIST; we truly become CHRIST in flesh here on earth; made in his very likeness.

now lets continue shall we.

i purposely wrote that question as a means for you tuiche and scott dale to step back for a moment to see where i was coming from and what i was trying to convey of GOD’S truth of this.

i should of been more explanatory of this and i humbly ask for forgiveness. but i wanted to see what was going to be discussed here on this subject.

for instance you say an in-animate object are only evil when used or in use. in other words the intentions of the person wielding these in-animate objects will produce the outcome of good or evil.

this is were we differ.

for when i stated that evil is evil whether moving or standing still; is because it is; regardless of being in action or in non-motion.

are we not suppose to be the very image of our LORD JESUS CHRIST; right; show me were he ever lived by the sword, played card games, or carried any kind of weapon.

he didn’t.

didn’t our LORD JESUS CHRIST also rebuke peter for cutting a jewish soldiers ear off. for didn’t our LORD JESUS CHRIST say that those who lived by the sword die; by the sword. also is it not the sword of truth in fact our very weapon; which is the word of GOD.

also didn’t our LORD JESUS CHRIST say to turn our cheek and give up all that is required of us for none of it is ours to begin with. for they are only temporary means for us to get by while still here on earth. doesn’t our LORD JESUS CHRIST say he shall give to us and take away from us.

but most importantly doesn’t our LORD JESUS CHRIST say vengeance is his and not ours in anyway.

lets look back at genesis 4 which is the ungodly line of cain. does it not say that they were a very wise people so much so than GOD’S humble and simple children. for they were workers of iniquity. as the children of GOD were workers of faith.

so then it would only be fair to say that the ungodly line of cain were workers of iniquity and created many devices used for such works. for satan creates devices (not creation of life for this is what separates him from GOD) and turns it into his creation of unrighteousness to destroy the truth of GOD’S word.

GOD has never created weapons of destruction or for woks of iniquity.

but satan has in every way. for this earth and all that is in it belongs to satan until our LORD JESUS CHRIST chains him up for 1,000 years and then destroys satan and then sets up his kingdom here on earth to reign forever.

so every device of destruction in this world was created as means by satan to pull us away from GOD.

but here is were i do agree; only when one is truly reborn.

as GODLY men we can own guns, knives, or cards and use them FOR WE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD OF FILTH but live higher and have no ill will towards others. for we will and shall not grab a gun, a knife, or any other weapon or in-animate object to defend or kill anyone. we will also not use cards at all as a means to tell one’s future or read the stars in the same manner.

these devices become a tool to a true born again christian as a means to enrich our daily lives and to simplify our daily chores; no more and no less.

for i believe only the power of our LORD JESUS CHRIST can in fact remedy those ill feelings of evil intentions freeing us to see only a tool for daily life.

where a man of iniquity sees a weapon of unrighteous works.

for who says self protection and defending with weapons of such evil intentions are justifiable. for on either end of each weapon lies many reasons of justification; yet all result in death. in which we are ordained never to be partakers of.

Scott Dale and Angel: Frankly speaking Scott is much more careful in his words than Angel…showing spiritual maturity. Angel, don’t get hurt, this is just an advise, you are quite zealous in the faith…but you are quite young and lack experience…I advised you to “be ready to listen, slow to anger (think) and slow to speak….I notice you are fun of mixing great sounding words-like a word crafter- oftentimes without even knowing what you are saying or the result of such a sweeping statement (don’t get hurt…i am like that too and most of us here)…

On my question on post #1- I agree with the careful approach of Scott Dale….but with doubts if it applies with the “Tarot Card” for it seems connected with the occult such as the “pagan idols”…though I think Scott maybe right- Scott said:” The things you have mentioned are not evil IN THEMSELVES. They are all in-animate objects and possess no life within. Without the capacity for moral choice, THINGS cannot be evil.”

On the other hand Angel made a sweeping Statement again even including the BOLOS AND KNIVES as evil by itself- which we use in our daily lives… as I have said PLEASE go slow young man…before a fall is pride…you are in danger of becoming spiritually puff-up! Remember that whosoever exalts himself will….

Angel,

I’m not sure how to take your post #5. Correct me if I’m wrong but it strikes me as provocative.

For clarity sake; if the question that you posed; “is satan evil by himself..?” is not rhetorical then what is it? Are you saying that Satan is NOT evil by himself? Surely you are not saying that Satan is only evil because God wills it are you? Please explain yourself.

As to the question “why?”; I guess it depends on whether or not you think Satan is intrinsically evil. I think he IS; therefore, the question of “why” becomes rhetorical also because there is no rational explanation for evil.

Regarding things like Tarot cards; you are evidently saying they also are intrinsically evil. I fail to see any logic in this position so please enlighten me: How exactly are Tarot cards themselves evil?

Finally, you say that “satan has his creations as well; just as GOD.” What do you mean by this? What has Satan EVER created? Where does Satan get his creative powers from? Do you know of any verse that can support such an idea?

Perhaps the forbidden fruit that Eve ate was intrinsically evil and actually a creation of Satan and not God. If it was, please help me to understand because I think this is something I should really look into!

EVIL; EVEN WHEN SITTING STILL.

doesn’t satan sit waiting for someone to take his ways. if you see evil as only as a means when it is used then you have lost the battle.

EVIL IS EVIL. whether sitting still or moving.

therefore my so called rhetorical question as you perceive it to be; should in otherwise be enlightening.

it is so hard i guess to take GOD’S HOLY WORDS as FACTUAL TRUTHS; when he plainly says we should follow him in every way. for his ways are righteous and the things of this world are of the satan.

satan has his creations as well; just as GOD. for is it not said that everything GOD has or does satan copies him.

something you should really look into.

Tiuche,

I have to contradict Angel on this one. The things you have mentioned are not evil IN THEMSELVES. They are all in-animate objects and possess no life within. Without the capacity for moral choice, THINGS cannot be evil.

Of course, ANY thing can be used for evil; even things intended for good.

Angel’s question regarding Satan is rhetorical for Satan, as the Father of lies is intrinsically evil. No good thing dwells within him.

TO ANYONE WHO REALLY KNOWS… Please answer my questions:

1). Are THE SOLITAIRE CARDS EVIL BY ITSELF and why?
2). Are THE TAROT CARDS EVIL BY ITSELF and why?
3). Are guns evil by itself and why?
4). Are knives and bolos or swords evil by itself and why?
5). Are crosses evil by itself and why?

Thanks!

THESE ARE ABOMINATIONS IN THE SIGHT OF GOD: sorcery, witchcraft, magic, Wicca, Satanism, wizards, mediums, fortune-tellers, spiritualism, psychics, paganism, God warns us from PRACTICING divination, necromancy, soothsaying, enchantments, spiritism, augury, and other aspects of the occult. To be a practitioner or doer or even a consulter of such abominations is a sin against God.
