DIVORCE AND POLYGAMY

GOD HATES DIVORCE (PUTTING AWAY) & He tells individual husband not to deal treacherously with his wife or wives…especially the WIFE OF HIS YOUTH. It is the duty of every man to love their individual wife &/or wives-like Christ gave His Life for His Bride-His Seven Churches. And He promised that if any individual would really be sincerely love Him, He would not put away such an individual.

In the modern sitting husbands have a hard time in being benevolent to their one wife because of the lies and spell that have engulf society. With the ancient is wisdom…and during those days most husbands were not greenhorns with girls-they were really macho for individual males have many wives. Unlike today when husbands especially those naive who snatch the first girl they met…later on are tempted to other more attractive and younger girls. With the lie in place-their individual wives thinking that their individual husband had been unfaithful with them- these wives embarked on a vengeance- they embark to test their sex appeal with other men. And of course many men would desire any woman…and the individual wives finding that they could defeat their husband; that they individually could attract many males-like a lone female dog sUrrounded by 2 or more…throws all shame and control to the air-result broken families-DIVORCE!

If the true standard of God in marriage be establish then we can minimize the divorce and broken families. But will anyone hear?

Some may make an issue AGAIN of my comment but in interpreting scriptures we must look at the big picture of things spiritual and interpret individual scriptures in consonance to the over all spirit. Why did I put “wife or wives?” To emphasize that for one individual man to have more than one wife is not a sin against God.For us to establish the Laws of God. Other scriptures as support:

2 Chronicles 24:3 And the High priest Jehoiada took for KIng Joash two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.

2 Samuel 12:8(GOD tells David)I gave you your master’s house and his wives and the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. And if that was not enough, I would have added more…

1)When the personal relationship with Jesus Christ is affected, the relationship between the husband & the wife is also affected.
2)Read Paul’s advice in Eph5:18.”..be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess;but be filled with the Spirit.”
3)Paul has used the metaphor of husband-wife relationship between Christ & the Church.Eph.5:32.He has quoted Gen.2:24 in the previous verse.Wife has to submit to the husband & husband has to love the wife.
4)Peter has outlined some principles for husbands & wives in Peter 3:1-9.Wives must submit to their husbands & live godly lives with good conduct & character. The husbands must have understanding of their wives & live with them honoring them. Both must be faithful to each other & bring glory to the name of God.
