1)”immediately” is a word found frequently in Mark’s Gospel.In chapter 1,it occurs 4 times (vs 12,28,31,42)in KJV & 7 times in NKJV (vs 10,12,18,20,
28,31,42).The word “straightway” in vs 10,18,20 in KJV is translated as
“immediately”in NKJV.
2)Immediately the leprosy disappeared from him & he was cleansed. This is really a spectacular miracle. But more than that,Christ has the power to change a person’s life also.1 Cor.6:11.The blood of Jesus Christ purge our conscience to serve the living God.Heb.9:14;Read Heb.1:3.Let us take the illustration of a butterfly.it was once a caterpillar-which is called “the enemy of a farmer”.But after about 21 days being in a nest,it comes out as a beautiful butterfly, which is called “the friend of the farmer”.God’s Word is quick & powerful.Heb.4:12.The blood of Jesus Christ is efficacious in providing cleansing & (redemption)forgiveness of sins.1 John 1:7;Eph.1:7.
Heb.9:12.The Holy Spirit works effectively in us.1 Cor.6:11.
2 Cor.5:17(Amp)Therefore if any man is (ingrafted)in Christ(the Messiah)he is a creation (a new creation altogether);the old(the previous moral & spiritual condition) has passed away;Behold the fresh & new has come!
