A lot has been written on this subject.
But if you look at the context of the account, the religious folk were saying that Jesus was possessed by a demon and was doing this work by the power of a demon. In other words, they were saying that the Holy Spirit was a demon, though they may have said it ignorantly.
In saying this, the teachers of the law were completely rejecting the Holy Spirit and His work and were considering Him as someone to be despised, as supremely evil, and wicked.
No one who has this mindset can ever be forgiven.
Specifically, Blasphemy of “The Holy Ghost.” What does that mean to you and how is it different from blasphemy in general?

Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.

I may say that bleshphamy means telling something odd, awkward, evil, false that is totally incorrect about and insulting God and for that matter the Holy Spirit
