There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

to all:
god bless you all always. and may our lord shine his light unto our feet as a lantern; guiding us ever closer unto himself in all truth and love.

charles we are in agreement for once. for this scripture is saying exactly according to isaiah.

isaiah 59:3
3. for your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

even 1 timothy 4:4-5

1 timothy 4:4-5
4. for every creature of god is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5. for it is sanctified by the word of god and prayer.

for an even further understanding of this lets look at romans.

romans 10:4-5
4. for christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5. for mose’s describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

this is pretty self explanatory.

we also can’t forget galatians.

galatians 3:1-29 (verses)
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

17. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

23. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

galatians 4:1-7
1. Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2. But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
4. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

so now this verse states that those who wish to continue in the law shall live and die of them. but those who are of faith are free from the laws because the law has been fulfilled through our lord jesus christ in whom we are reborn. so the mosaic law was abolished by our lord jesus christ in which is restored the original covenant of faith from abraham. so those who continue in the law is of their own works and not of god’s.

like i said charles the covenant of faith in the beginning before the fall of our deeds at mt. sinai when the law was introduced.

god bless you all and may this enrich your understanding of god’s holy living word. amen

Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:’These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Tiuche, you don’t have to eat those “abominable” creatures if you don’t want to (the Bible calls themn “good”). All you have to do is admit that the laws of Moses have been changed. Welcome to the New Testament!

Charles: If that is how you believe that then just do it! Eat those dirty animals listed in Leviticus 11! Show us your faith in what you teach by eating those abominable creatures in Leviticus 11!

Tiuche, can’t you read? The NT does in fact ABOLISH Leviticus.
“There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him” - Mark 7:15
“Every creature of God is good to eat.” - 1 Tim 3:4
If you fail to believe thesse words of the Bible you are an unbeliever, as I have always suspected.

In post 2 you try to deny the words of the Bible by pointing out some of the many Bible contradictions. I’m glad you’re finally started to acknowledge these contradictions. You SHOUTED a lot, too! Let e SHOUT one back at you: THE BIBLE IS WHAT IT SAYS, NOT WHAT TIUCHE OR ANYBODY WISH IT WOULD HAVE SAID.

Jesus abolished the laws of Moses. Thank you Jesus.

LET THOSE WHO TEACH THAT LEVITICUS 11 HAD BEEN ABOLISHED EAT THE UNCLEAN CREATURES LISTED IN THERE SO THEY MAY SEE THEIR FOLLY!

THIS VERSE HAD BEEN CONSTANTLY TWISTED BY PEOPLE TO SUIT THE VAIN CONVERSATION THEY INHERITED FROM THEIR FOREFATHERS…but the truth is this Word of Jesus does not say that the Laws of God on unclean foods have been overturned for Jesus himself said:

Matthew 5:17Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.

And consider too that in Acts 10 the Chief Apostle Peter, 10 years from this instruction of Jesus as recorded by Mark 7:15, would not still eat what Leviticus 11 states as unclean.

And please remember that those who try to tell us that the dietary law of God had been abolished would themselves not eat the unclean foods that God enumerated in Leviticus 11. They are teaching you without even probably studying Leviticus 11, in their ignorance they will put themselves and those following them in a precarious situation.

Let those who teach that Leviticus 11 had been abolished eat the unclean animals listed in there so they may see their folly!

With this verse Jesus overturns the diet laws of Moses. This is confirmed in 1 Tim 3:4: “Every creature of God is good to eat.”

This was a drastic change. During the life of Jesus the Mosaic law was strictly observed. In Acts 10:14-14 we read how hard Peter found it to adopt the change: “And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.”

Habits are always hard to change!
