At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

1. Jesusā€˜ disciples are HUNGRY on the Sabbath
a. And begin eating some grain (or corn)
2. They do NOT technically violate the Mosaic Law
a. When you come into your neighbor’s standing grain, you may pluck the heads with your hand, but you shall not use a sickle on your neighbor’s standing grain (Deut 23:25)
