a. That He is NOT working
b. FOR the devil
c. But is superior TO the devil
2. It is Jesus who has an authority
a. GREATER than that of the devil
3. It is Jesus who comes into the world
a. And overcomes the devil
4. It is Jesus who PLUNDERS the devil‘s house
a. And takes what He wants
b. From the devil
5. And what does Jesus take from the devil?
a. What does Jesus get out of this?
6. Jesus wanted and gets US
a. And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience (Eph 2:1-2)
b. For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son (Col 1:13)
7. And He will one day get the kingdoms of the world
a. Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become [the kingdoms] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev 11:15)
