1)Angels are supernatural beings having a little higher dignity than man.
They are created by God to serve Him & to carry out His commands.They are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation.Hebrews 1:14.
2)Jesus Christ is God who was manifested in the flesh,justified by the
Spirit,seen of angels,preached unto the gentiles,believed on in the world,
received up into glory.1 Tim.3:16
3)Jesus Christ is the Son of God.The angels are commanded to worship Him.
Heb.1:6.
4)We can see the ministry of the angels in the Scriptures at the time of the
birth of Jesus (Matt.1:20;Luke 1:13,31;2:10),at the time of His temptation in the wilderness(Matt.4:11;Mark 1:13)at the time of His prayer in Gethsemane(Luke 22:43),at the time of His resurrection(Matt.28:2;Mark 16:5;Luke 24:4;John 20:12) and at the time of His ascension.Acts 1:10.The Lord will descend from heaven with a shout,with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God.1 Thes.4:16;Acts 1:11.
5)In Matt.28;2,we find that the angel of the Lord was sent from heaven to deliver the message of resurrection of Jesus Christ.
6)In Hebrews 1:13,the writer of the Epistle cited the quotation of Psalm 110:1,to prove that Jesus Christ is superior to angels as Son of God.Please see Heb.1:3;8:1;10:13,14;12:2.The writer employed Psalm 110:1 in these verses also.
7)Jesus Christ has finished the atonement work for our sins as a High Priest
by offering Himself as sacrifice(Heb.7:27)& sat on the right of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,making intercession for us.Please read Matthew
22:44;Mark 12:36;Luke 20:42;Acts2:34,35;Rom.8:34(Heb.7:25);Eph.1:20;Col.3:1;

1)It is exciting indeed!The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundational
truth of Christianity.1 Cor.15:17;Romans 4:25.
2)The birth of Jesus Christ was announced by an angel to the shepherds.Luke 2:9-12.The news of resurrection of Jesus Christ was announced by an angel.
Matt.28:5.
3)Nicodemus & Joseph of Arimathaea took the body of Jesus & wound it with linen clothes with the species.(Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh & aloes
about a 180 pound weight.John 19:39,40.The body was laid in a new tomb in a garden.John 19:41.Joseph rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb.Matt.
27:60.The stone was very great.Mark 16:4.The tomb(Stone) was sealed.Matthew 27:66.The Roman soldiers watched the tomb.Matt.27:65.
4)The Gospel writers did not mention how the resurrection took place.The seal was broken.The stone was rolled back.Matt.28;2;Mark 16:4;Luke 24:2.But the body of Jesus was not inside.And the Roman soldiers left their watch.
Matthew 28:11.
5)The linen clothes were inside the tomb.The napkin that was about his head,
not lying with the linen clothes,but wrapped together in a place by itself.
John 20:5-7.
6)The angel came down from heaven to tell the woman that the body of Jesus Christ was not inside the tomb & He has risen.Matt.28;6;Mark 16:6;Luke 24:6.
The resurrected Christ can enter the house that was closed.John 20:19,26.
In fact,the angel rolled away the stone not to let Jesus out but to show that Jesus was not inside.
7)The angel said to the shepherds when Jesus was born,”Fear not.” Luke 2:10.
The angel who came to tell the message of resurrection of Jesus Christ to the women said,”Fear not,ye”Matt.28:5.The risen Savior is with us.We need not fear.Matthew 28:18-20.

“And sat upon it” as if to say, “I dare you to move this stone!” I find it interesting that nowhere else in the Bible do we find angels sitting. They are always standing. “But to which of the angels said he at any time, SIT…” anywhere? (Heb 1:13) Yet, at this triumphant moment, it’s as if all heaven had been called upon to sit down and enjoy the victory.
Death defeated! Salvation paid for! Sin conquered! Hell vanquished!
