Do preachers of the gospel preach that men should continue in sin? or do they preach that men should repent? In Luke 9:6 when Jesus sent forth the apostles to preach it says “And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where” but Mark 6:12 speaking of the same event, says “And they went out, and preached that men should repent.” Even Paul, who is so very lied on by modern pastors, especially Calvinists, did not preach that men are saved apart from repentance or “once saved always saved” so that they can go on in unrepentant sin, but he says in Romans 6:1-4 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” And Peter says of Christ Jesus that he “his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24) Know then, assuredly, that such as preach that you need not repent but that you are saved by mere belief without repentance, are the ministers of Satan, “for” says Paul “such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-14)
