22 Bible Commentaries on Matthew 7: 22

22

“And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days’ journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.” (Exodus 5:2-3) Is this not the struggle all have to in faith and obedience that “he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).

Angel (Post 17) After reading other posts I am not sure if your kidding or not with your previous statements, but I’ll respond anyway to be sure.

God didn’t create the devil, but created Lucifer the covering cherub who was perfect until entertaining sinful thoughts that eventually overcame all the light (truth) in him and left him hopelessly corrupted and seeking to spread the sickness (Ezekiel 28:13-18, Isaiah 14:12-14). As the saying goes “Misery loves company”. He was cast out of heaven with all that choose to believe a lie and rebel, which did not have a love of the truth (Revelation 12:7-8). The Devil indulged, adopted, and perpetuated sin because he thought he could gain a status that God was holding back from him not unlike how he tempted Eve (Isaiah 14:13, Genesis 3:4-5), but in the true sense didn’t create it. Even though God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10, Acts 15:18) he doesn’t infringe on free choice not only in heaven’s separation, but what continues to happen on earth. God will allow all of the evidence to be manifested so that all creation has an equal chance to accept or reject God’s light to alleviate any doubt so that the righteous and unrighteous alike had their fair shake at things (Matthew 13:24-30, 1st Corinthians 4:5, Malachi 3:18). God’s honorable upholding of free choice (sow what you reap) allows all who are created to fully participate in His blessings or if they rebel then they will receive all the curses from rejecting the light that sought to lift them out of bondage to untruths causing them to be slaves to sin (John 8:34, Romans 6:6, 2nd Peter 2:19).

To witness what happened to pharaoh we can refer to our own walk with the Lord. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. If we say that we have not sin then how can we confess and forsake our sins (1st John 1:8). God provides the increase in all our lives through the light that shines on the darkness that seeks to keep us enslaved to lusts (Philippians 2:13, John 6:65, Psalms 127:1). As the author and finisher of our faith God continues to give us rays of light that seek to continue his work to the aide of all creation. God will continue to add to the love of the truth that he has started as long as we continue with a humble and teachable spirit, not seeking to overthrow God’s influence in our lives. Allowing God to write his laws in our hearts and minds gives us new emotions, affections, and thoughts to continue to assist in the purification process to separate truth from a lie and transcend the hopeless captivity of sin and selfishness (Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 36:26, Hebrews 8:10). If we strive against him cherishing darkness/lies we work against God and his creative process making it harder to hear, see, and submit to the truth. The burden of choice lay on individuals for God will continue to set his way before them who accept the yoke (Matthew 11:28-30, Micah 6:8).

God sets up kingdoms and nations nothing happens without his acceptance (Daniel 4:25 & 34-35, Jeremiah 27:5, Psalms 75:6-7). So to with pharaoh God had set up this particular king in power to display His unlimited power and authority in bringing out his people from captivity. Although God knew that pharaoh would be stubborn and rebellious to God’s message, this doesn’t undermine his overall intention that he be humble and teachable to God (Romans 2:4, 2nd Peter 3:9, Numbers 14:18). There was suppose to be a clear separation between coming out of Egypt (leaving sin – old man) and going into the wilderness to seek God’s promise land (to promise land – new man). The witness of God’s hand of deliverance was to be told for generations to keep people’s minds afresh to God’s ability and willingness to provide for those who will trust and obey (Exodus 10:2, Deuteronomy 4:9, Ephesians 6:4). The current pharaoh could have learned many lesson’s from his previous Egyptian ruler’s dealings with God through Abraham, Joseph. No unfair advantage was put on pharaoh to act contrary to God’s will, but when presented with the Word of God as spoken through God’s servants pharaoh thought it but foolishness. If anything God had blessed pharaoh with more advantages then most around him and will have no more then what pride and a self serving nature can secure company with like minded individuals such as Satan. Anyone can be blinded to God’s saving grace today if they treasure riches, knowledge, social status, power, lies, etc… more then God’s plan for the individual and for the universe. Pharaoh wasn’t willing to humble himself and instead kept sowing the seed of rebellion no matter the counsel from God or fellow Egyptians (Exodus 10:3 & 7).

“And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead” (Luke 16:31) rang true in pharaoh’s life when faced with many miracles and was still blinded to his need to repent and seek a better kingdom and Ruler.

If it isn’t clear in the previous statements the fact that there was a mixed multitude (Exodus12:38) that exited out of Egypt shows that all who would leave their old life were accepted, although not all that say Lord, Lord are of the flock. God cares for all and yet does not justifying the wicked in their sins, but saves them from sin and sinning. God’s love is not in question by anyone but Satan (the accuser of brethren) as previously stated for “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked” (Ezekiel 33:11).

TAFT:

in order to understand that GOD doesn’t love everyone we must take into account that GOD has created satan and satan has created his children. if GOD says he hardened pharaoh’s heart so GOD could reveal his power to his chosen true sons and daughters of GOD; and then destroy all of egypt and its armies when they pursued moses; wouldn’t you agree GOD merely used pharaoh as a means for his children.

so did GOD love pharaoh and all his armies? or did he merely create them as an instrument or tool to further advance his GODLY attributes to his true sons and daughters?

GOD is creator of all and he uses it all for his benefit for his true chosen sons and daughters to see how their father in heaven loves them so.

also when GOD destroys evil against him; does he love those who are against him? especially when we see how GOD acted out his vengeance….. was it love?

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

“For we are his workmanship created unto good works” and not sin.

We have Justification/Salvation (Our righteousness) by the grace of God through faith that Christ has presented a more perfect sacrifice for our sins, because “without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins” (Hebrews 9:22). As seen through out the bible since disobedience to God in the garden, humans have had a reminder of the more perfect will of God to come to justify them in the sight of God and set them on a path to righteousness, of which men can choose the direction and God will order their steps. Just as in God’s word Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, etc (Hebrews 11:1-11) accepted God as an authority in their life and heeded his word. If sin is the transgression of the law and God has gone to such lengths to even allow his son to die on the cross then why would he permit open sin after the atonement? If we follow God’s model then we have an advocate with the father if we confess and forsake sin as prescribed by him. Did not Christ come to save people from sin and not in them (Matthew 1:21)? Does not God seek people who will keep the commandments of God (Obey) and have the faith of Jesus (Trust)?

Prayerfully ask yourself the questions:

Is Christ the minister and facilitator of sinning, lawlessness, transgression, iniquity, and disobedience? (Matthew 7:23, Romans 3:30-31, Matthew 5:17)

Why was Satan cast out of heaven and why would those who think to promote rebellion through open disobedience be any different? (Revelation 12:12, Isaiah 14:12-14)

How can we be sanctified in Christ’s image if we seek to throw away the things that shed light on right from wrong, good from evil, unholy vs. holy? (Hebrews 1:8-9, Romans 7:7, Psalms 37:31)

If I understand you correctly you’re saying that God doesn’t love everyone? God can see the end from the beginning he does not make us choose a course of action. The bible is clear that God does love the world/sinners and has done all within his power. God’s love is not in question because it is clear that he cares about everyone, but the sinner’s loyalty is the one that rejects God and seeks to erect false gods that have no life in them (John3:16, Romans 5:8, 2nd Peter 3:9, 1st Timothy 2:3-4)

The white robe in revelation is the righteousness of Christ that clothes us making us able to be redeemed/justified before God. It is essential that all who accept Christ wear it. Wasn’t sure it you were coming to this conclusion after reading you previous statements?

taft:

yes, i do agree that many will go above their very own self pride and ego. i also believe their are many false teachings that look and seems as truth and are yet from an evil religious supernatural spirit; satan. his whole purpose is to deceive GOD’S (chosen/the elect/ the bride); of GOD’S holy living word truths.

for doesn’t the bible state that the devil shall be so close almost to deceive GOD’S chosen.

matthew 24:24:
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

1 timothy 4:1-2:
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

GOD’S holy living word states in fact; that many shall come claiming our LORD JESUS CHRIST; only to be refused for they were never his bride to begin with.

everyone says that GOD loves everybody… that’s a lie. then feel free to explain to me why GOD would go through so many lengths to rid evil and all its attributes as seen throughout the old testament only to be denied by the his very own chosen israel. and then GOD turns around and hands israel a paper of divorce.

doesn’t the bible also state that we are but clay in the hands of GOD for he to mold us as he sees fit; whether it be to glory or to condemnation. so does GOD love everyone…NO only his true sons and daughters of whom he has called and calvary was the redeeming act to take us back spiritually to the beginning of GOD’S plans for his true sons and daughters. this was the moment of spiritual awakening for we were in a state of amnesia of who we really are for those that are his true chosen sons and daughters.

jeremiah 18:6-10:
O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

isaiah 64:8:
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

isaiah 45:7-11:
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

romans 9:8-26:
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

also doesn’t GOD’S holy living word also state that his true chosen sons and daughters shall hear and recognize his voice only and no other as well as the holy spirit himself will teach us and it shall be truth and in standing.

2 peter 1:2-12:
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

1 john 2:27:
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

ephesians 1:2-23:
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

and as for our LORD JESUS CHRIST he shall meet his bride/ the elect/ the chosen/ the predestinated/ the true sons and daughters in the air for that glorious marriage feast. this is the rapture. the end of the laodicea church age which we are in; gentile dispensation age: and it ends with the rapture. then the gentiles who are left behind are gonna die in his most HOLY NAME for they will and shall reject satan and all his ways. not all will accept the mark of the beast. lets look at the truth of this in revelation.

revelation 20:4:
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

now there are two groups being described here. lets break it down. who shall judge the world along with the bridegroom… his bride/ the predestined/ the elect/ the chosen israel… for true israel is jew and gentile.

1 corinthians 6:2-3:
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

now those who were beheaded and didn’t worship the beast is the great multitude in revelation 7:9-17.

revelation 7:9-17:
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

and as for the sabbaths; all of them. and as for our works… nope. they are all under the law which we are free from.

greater is he in me for he has conquered all….. AMEN, HALLELUJAH, AND PRAISE YOU OH LORD….. WHO IS, WHO WAS, AND SHALL ALWAYS BE..

Angel:

Thank you for taking the time to share what you think God has taught you. I would like to take a moment to ask you some questions to allow you to clarify some of what you have said.

It appears that you are saying this “GOD experience” is seeing God work in an individual’s life to create in them something not attainable by mere human works through trusting and obeying his more perfect will. Although seeing, touching, and hearing God in some manifested form as can be read about in the bible, an experience is not unfounded; we can see that through the lessons in scriptures that senses are not something to base your faith on, especially if it contradicts God’s word. In a world where poisonous multipurpose cleaners smell like fruit and other desirable odors, this shouldn’t sway us to override the higher methods of discernment to drink them. There are certain plants, animals, and other seemingly welcoming elements that look cuddly and yet a better thought process says don’t try going to extremes and doing something like hugging a polar bear. Certain drugs and other self destroying behaviors give you a “feeling” of ecstasy, but more appropriate love to neighbor and self assists you in knowing there is a better way. Though something looks God sent, if contradicting to any of God’s principle’s or laws we have to seek more correctly to evaluate if in fact we are in error through misconceptions (Deuteronomy 12:9, 2nd Corinthians 5:7 & 11:14, John 20:29, ). We as God’s children experience many positive life changing emotions as byproducts of correct application of obedience to laws and principles only if we submit and accept his gift daily (Galatians 5:22-23). This is no the case for those who try and prioritize gratification of feelings above sound doctrine from God, who are indeed slaves to their own lusts still.

“angel answers:
this is hard for many to grasp but our LORD JESUS CHRIST death wasn’t for everyone or everything, it was for his bride (GOD’S children from all over the world) and for what was his. “
God does desire that all should be saved and come to repentance, but not at the expense of undermining critical truths that God’s throne in heaven is founded on (2nd Peter 3:9, 1st Timothy 2:4). As symbolized by the old sacrificial system instructed by God, by confessing and forsaking sins we gain the victory through Christ. It is a striking revelation that rather then ignore any laws established in heaven for the betterment of creation from the Creator, God sent his only begotten son to die in place of repentant sinners. Even though all have an invitation, not all accept is what I believe you’re saying right?

In response to your many hypotheses about this verse in relation to the parables and analogies put forth of future events. I have many concerns about rightly dividing the word of truth and digestion of poisonous untruths vs. spirit edifying nourishment. If I understand you correctly you think that God is making two stops to pick up Christians, one for those who are ready and another when the others come around to it later by their own works through a tribulation period? It seems as though you’re alluding to the fact that your two bus stop theory claims that the people going through this tribulation period have white robes but the previous ones didn’t or don’t have a need?

I also have a question about your list of man mad doctrines. I see that you have stated a common truth we are not “14.) Our works saves us”, but I was trying to see more clearly what you meant by “(3.) Keeping the sabbath , (11.) Keeping the law”? Are you still taking about being saved by works or promoting some other issue, which law are you talking about and which sabbath day(s)?

TRACTORMAN:

throughout the bible; from genesis to revelation; we see GOD trying to teach us his ways. only to be rejected by most.

TRACTORMAN asks:
Angel - how are we to determine ‘one true GOD’S teachings’, and what is a ‘GOD experience’

angel answers:
for instance, you asked me what is a GOD experience. it’s GOD calling you and you either physically hear, see, or feel his presence. every true believer has one. look throughout the scriptures and see for yourself. this is GOD choosing you. because afterwards we see GOD revealing, working, teaching, preaching, and any other means for you to see and hear him.

and as for the one true GOD teaching; doesn’t 1 john 2:27 state, “but the annointing (holy spirit) which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same annointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”

now wouldn’t you agree that GOD is teaching us; just as the days of old; about himself.

for you see i believe in the power of the spirit which manifests GOD’S holy living word (miracles) and testifies of the holy spirit indwelled in the true called and chosen believer. just as paul stated himself.

lets look at the gospels of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. he came speaking GOD’S word; even though there were many other beliefs and churches just as today; yet he spoke of GOD’S truth.

now if you look throughout the bible; from genesis to revelation; you will see that there was always only ONE speaking GOD’S truth among the many other beliefs and doctrines. GOD’S HOLY LIVING WORD; hidden amongst all the evil and corrupt dogmas of the world. just as the bible states that you shall always find the light in the darkness no matter what. doesn’t the bible state that we who are his lambs shall hear and recognize his voice.

GOD’S wisdom, knowledge, and understanding was hidden from the blind and deaf. yet revealed to his children who come seeking and thirsting for their father in heaven.

GOD doesn’t make mistakes….. ever.

TRACTORMAN asks:
Are you equating ‘earthly christians’ with LOST mankind who simply inhabit churches, since they do not have a ‘GOD experience’? Also, please define ‘GOD experience’…

angel answers:
now lets review what the bible states about the 10 virgins. its the church.

now the church consists of three kinds of believers:
(1.) the 5 wise virgins are those who recognize and were given the complete revelation of the very message/word of the hour, have surrendered themselves to GOD completely to all his truthly teachings over man’s dogmas, and are given the holy spirit. these are the predestinated, the bride members, the elect, GOD’S chosen, the true believer, GOD’S seed (supernatural christians) this elect christian also is raptured off to the marriage feast before the great tribulation.

(2.) the 5 foolish virgins are the other half of the church who are part of the church yet are not given the complete revelation of the message/word of the hour, just can’t let go of the world completely or surrender themselves wholly unto GOD, can’t accept GOD’S word completely, accept man’s dogmas as truth, and have not received the holy spirit. these are pretend believers. (earthly christians) this part of the church are the ones who go and die in the great tribulation and who received white robes. who were once blind and deaf but are now awakened and realize they missed GOD’S hourly message of the hour.

(3.) now this group is the serpent seed. the non-believers; yet know GOD’S word and reject GOD entirely. who have been predestined to damnation.

now there is also one more group but they are not believers in anyway; yet they shall receive salvation by good deeds. remember our LORD JESUS CHRIST stated this, “by clothing, visiting, feeding, and any other means by providing for GOD’S elect. for you have done it unto him.”

you can see this throughout the bible.

TRACTORMAN asks:
How can ‘believers’ (who by definition are those who have been born-again of the Spirit) only believe they are in yet so many have never received or experienced their own personal GOD experience? Again, please define ‘GOD experience’.

angel answers:
this is hard for many to grasp but our LORD JESUS CHRIST death wasn’t for everyone or everything, it was for his bride (GOD’S children from all over the world) and for what was his.

for instance, noah’s flood was a form of baptism for the world. then at calvary the holy blood spilled was the redeeming power or in other words the sanctifier. now there is only one thing left, thats the purging power of GOD through the baptism of the holy spirit of fire. this is the order for mankind, animals, plants, and the earth itself.

GOD’S order of being reborn:
(1.) water/justification/washing by the word
(2.) blood/sanctification/purification
(3.) baptism of the holy ghost/salvation/fire

TRACTORMAN asks:
WHAT ???? Where in scripture do you EVER read that born-again Christians are EVER ‘not bride members yet’ and will NOT be allowed into the holy city until… what??? Who ARE these ‘not bride members yet’?

angel answers:
now if we look at john 3:2-8 which states, “the same came to JESUS by night, and said unto him, rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from GOD: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except GOD be with him.
JESUS answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD. nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? JESUS answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again. the wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the spirit.”

in other words, there are no more signs and wonders for one who shall receive the holy spirit. one can only tell by the fruit which it produces. which is the actual power of the spirit manifesting and producing the very same signs and wonders of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. that is our commission.

didn’t our LORD JESUS CHRIST say the things he did so shall we but greater for he returns unto the father. the bride is the double portion just as elisha was for elijah. did you know the spirit of elijah gets used 5 times throughout the holy bible. look for yourself and see if i am lying or not.

there were many so called christians throughout the bible but they were earthly and then there were the supernatural christians.

one example is abraham and lot. abraham was chosen and called by GOD. abraham’s name change signifies that because GOD put his name into abram to get abraham. abraham was the true supernatural church as lot was the earthly church that never let go of the world.

did you ever notice that abraham noticed who GOD was immediately out of the three messengers. for abraham said “LORD.” were as lot said “lords” to the two angels. abraham recognized the message of the hour; were lot saw it but couldn’t understand for he was still in the world. and if it wasn’t for abraham being favored in the eyes of GOD; lot would of been destroyed right along with sodom and gommorah.

abraham symbolizes the raptured bride as lot symbolizes the earthly church going through the great tribulation and coming out with white robes.

for we shall receive how we believe the words of GOD; to be as truth or a mere story; for myself i believe every word throughout the holy bible as factual truth.

TRACTORMAN asks:
So how do YOU know you have NOT followed man-made doctrines? Please provide a list of ‘man-made’ doctrines that keep the ‘not bride members yet’ out of the city of God…

angel answers:
well in revelation 17 we see the great harlot church and her daughters.

false churches which produced many man made doctrines to pull us away from the truth and teachings of GOD. just as in the days of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. as well in the days of adam, noah, abraham, moses, david, solomon, elijah, isaiah, jeremiah, ezekiel, daniel, john the baptist, JESUS CHRIST, and throughout the holy bible from genesis to revelation.

small list of man made doctrines:
(1.) no eating meat on certain days
(2.) christmas as the birth of our LORD JESUS CHRIST
(3.) keeping the sabbath
(4.) miracles are over with
(5.) JESUS CHRIST is just a good man
(6.) JESUS CHRIST is archangel michael
(7.) sins can be forgiven by an earthly man by money donations
(8.) sprinkling baptism
(9.) baptism of the dead (literally)
(10.) baptism in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit
(11.) keeping the law
(12.) polygamy
(13.) pastors can’t be married
(14.) our works saves us

these are but a few. you can find so many more for they are endless.

Angel - I appreciate what you have to say as far as God choosing us, for I think that IS biblical… desire some clarification though…

Angel wrote: one true GOD’S teachings; and you have to be called and born into it; a GOD experience.

Tractorman responds: Angel - how are we to determine ‘one true GOD’S teachings’, and what is a ‘GOD experience’

Angel wrote: for all earthly churches are just earthly christians with no true GOD experience; virgins with no oil.

Tractorman responds: Are you equating ‘earthly christians’ with LOST mankind who simply inhabit churches, since they do not have a ‘GOD experience’? Also, please define ‘GOD experience’…

Angel wrote: so many believers believe they are in. yet so many have never received or experienced their own personal GOD experience.

Tractorman responds: How can ‘believers’ (who by definition are those who have been born-again of the Spirit) only believe they are in yet so many have never received or experienced their own personal GOD experience? Again, please define ‘GOD experience’.

Angel wrote: and because of this so many so called christians are not bride members yet still have a place in heaven but not in GOD’S holy city. for this holy city is for the bride members only.

Tractorman responds: WHAT ???? Where in scripture do you EVER read that born-again Christians are EVER ‘not bride members yet’ and will NOT be allowed into the holy city until… what??? Who ARE these ‘not bride members yet’?

Angel wrote: so many so called christians will have missed the very message of the hour, followed man made doctrines, and denied the power of the spirit in their lives.

Tractorman responds: So how do YOU know you have NOT followed man-made doctrines? Please provide a list of ‘man-made’ doctrines that keep the ‘not bride members yet’ out of the city of God…

I am NOT trying to pick on you, Angel… I think you say some GOOD things, but I am trying to understand more clearly what you are saying…

there is only one true GOD church, one true GOD’S holy living word, one true GOD’S teachings; and you have to be called and born into it; a GOD experience.

just as every true believer in the bible received. it didn’t change then and it doesn’t change now.

for all earthly churches are just earthly christians with no true GOD experience; virgins with no oil.

as the true church is a supernatural church; virgins with oil.

what is more important is GOD chooses you and calls you to his one true church. not you choosing GOD.

so many believers believe they are in. yet so many have never received or experienced their own personal GOD experience.

for every true believer has one. this is GOD choosing you; not you choosing GOD.

and because of this so many so called christians are not bride members yet still have a place in heaven but not in GOD’S holy city. for this holy city is for the bride members only.

so many so called christians will have missed the very message of the hour, followed man made doctrines, and denied the power of the spirit in their lives.

We’re getting there Tiuche - I would just caution those reading this however that LOVE and GOOD WORKS does NOT a believer defacto make (to which I believe you also would agree)… you actually hit the nail on the head - it should MARK a believer (see the epistle of James, chapter 2).

… and it IS sad when the Cultist and the False Religionist ‘Out-Christians’ the Christian in their devotion and good works to THEIR god/gods, while through sin, laziness and distraction the believer is luke-warm at best.

These folks in v22 appeared to be VERY RELIGIOUS, but Jesus will tell them He NEVER EVER KNEW THEM…

Should a Hindu, Muslim or Mormon who “loves God and his neighbor” be counted as a BELIEVER to whom Jesus will welcome with open arms, yet vigorously DENY His Essence, Character, claims and Atoning Work at Calvary? If that IS true, then I will no longer CONTEND for the Faith once given, because all that essentially matters is that they ‘loved God and their neighbor’ (which I know is NOT what you are saying)…

It is TRUE that Faith without works is dead, but ‘Faith’ must be in the RIGHT GOD as described in the BIBLE alone… for we can be sincere, but be sincerely wrong.

All I am saying is that it MUST START with a BIBLICALLY CORRECT understanding of God and Jesus… if those are NOT correct, then error begats error…

***Erratum for my Post#6 for Tractorman: One of the paragraphs should rightly read as:

I donot say that you did not mention LOVE…i am just making it a little clearer-that *** withOUT*** LOVE we are clanging cymbals-BABBLERS! Always speaking the TRUTH not to kill, but because we care for them and their souls lest we be hypocrites!

Tractorman: It is as if you are saying that the MARK that is needed for certain groups or individual to be declared as True Christians or true believer, is their correct interpretation of who Jesus really was! That everyone who professes beliefs in Jesus but fails on this is a cult!

Although that is an important aspect of a true believer-the primary marked I believed of a true believer is HIS LOVE FOR GOD & HIS NEIGHBOR. I am not talking about you or me or them-that would be trying to isolate us from one another. It is when a Mormon or a Jehovah witness member would help somebody in need on a lonely highway of life…it is the good but wrong doctrined Samaritan in action while the correctly doctrined Priests & Jews ignored the one in need in that road. This is the best marked I believe of the True Believer- LOVE!

mATTHEW 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing…

I donot say that you did not mention LOVE…i am just making it a little clearer-that with LOVE we are clanging cymbals-BABBLERS! Always speaking the TRUTH not to kill but because we care for them and their souls lest we be hypocrites!

May the Lord our God shines the more His light upon us all who are being made into His very image and character!

@ Tiuche - Oh absolutely I label them as a CULT - I don’t generalize them on my OWN authority, for they do NOT simply disagree on non-essentials such as eschatology or modes of church-government, but by their OWN admission, they ADMIT that they have, as a MINIMUM along with many OTHER doctrines, a DIFFERENT concept of GOD than Historic Biblical Christianity.

To the Jehovah’s Witness, Jesus is none other than Michael the Archangel, and they DENY the BODILY RESURRECTION of Jesus… they have their OWN version of the scriptures modified to fit their doctrines…

To the Mormon, Jesus is the spirit-brother of Lucifer… he is a man who through his faith, obedience and good works became a god… they believe the Bible is correct insofar as it is correctly translated along with the Book of Mormon (another testament of Jesus), Pearl of Great Price and Doctrines and Covenants, which ALL in a very practical sense, take a higher priority over the Bible…

I believe it would be unloving NOT to warn them of their UNBIBLICAL doctrines - to simply pat them on the head and send them on their way with God’s blessing would be WRONG…

Are there JW’s and Mormons who may be genuine Christians but terribly deceived? It is possible, but it’s the SYSTEM that is CORRUPT… and needs to be exposed as FALSE…

We are to love people, and I have had Mormons co-workers and acquaintences - wonderful people but trapped in horrible LIES having a DIFFERENT JESUS and a DIFFERENT GOSPEL (Gal 1:8-9)…

And although we share much of the SAME terminology, the MEANINGS poured into them are quite different as well, so when a cultist proudly claims they believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we always need to take the NEXT step and ask the question: “Tell me about the Jesus you believe in?”… it is usually at that point that the differences are CLEARLY noted…

Jesus loves and died for people… I sure am NOT trying to make Baptists or Calvary Chapel or Presbyterians out of them… but I DO want them to believe in the BIBLICAL GOD and the BIBLICAL JESUS…

Tractorman: I am not a Mormon neither am I a Jehovah Witness Church Member…but to generalize that these groups and their members are cults, do you think that would be speaking the TRUTH in love? Even if that was the truth, would that be helpful in leading them toward Christ? Is it even right for you as a TRUE believer of Jesus to generalize these people as cults?

Ephesians 4 verses:
14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

As your little brother in Christ (that is if you consider me as your brother in Christ or you might be also considering me as a deranged or “cultic polygamist”) I beseech you not to be taken in with the religious sentiments of those who in their pride thinks they are God’s true servants and looks down on other believers. Let us with all lowliness in mind (except if those cults would blaspheme the Words of God delivered through us) lead the wayward souls toward Him who alone is able to save-our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him leading them, all our babble would amount to nothing.May the Lord our God smile down on us and bid us godspeed!

b. Such as speaking on His behalf
c. Casting our demons
d. Bringing many to salvation
4. Included in this group would be cults
a. Like the Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses
b. Who also will cite works done in Jesus’ name
5. Jewish exorcists during Paul’s day come to mind
a. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” (Acts 19:13)
6. The seven sons of Sceva ALSO come to mind
a. Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded (Acts 19:14-16)

These are not atheists or Muslims or Jews, but preachers who claim to be preaching the gospel, but who are preaching “once saved always saved” and other lawless doctrines that make men determine that repentance is not necessary.
