And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Splitting hairs in trying to establish a distinctions between justification and sanctification has nothing to do with this verse. I hope it is not a rather cheap attempt to defend easy believism against the plain teaching of Christ to the contrary. Those that build their house on the sand and consequently have their house fall to pieces when the storm comes, are those who hear Jesus’ sayings but do not do them. Modern pastors and religionists can say all day long that all you have to do is beleive that Jesus died for you, but that is not enough if you refuse to obey Jesus’ teachings, as Jesus Himself shows in the parable: Those who do not obey his teachings will be destroyed by the storm. Jesus Christ, the Rock, is the only sure foundation that can keep your house (i.e. your life) from being annihilated by the storm. But in order for you to found your house (i.e. life) on that Rock, you must not only beleive in his death for your sins, but must also obey his teachings (as he has already said in the parable). Otherwise, you have exchanged the Rock for sand, and your house is destined for destruction.

Sorry,There are corrections in commentary 2.
Justification is the deliverance from the penalty of sin.(not the presence of sin as mentioned by mistake). It delivers us from the judgment of death. We are declared righteous before God by grace. It makes us to have a right standing before God.
Sanctification is deliverance from the power of sin.It is o.k.It is a continuous process. It depends upon how we yield ourselves to God.Prayer,
meditation, fellowship, witnessing help us to grow & mature.God is holy.He wants us to be holy.He makes us holy.We are called to live a holy life pleasing to God.
Glorification is deliverance from the very presence of sin.(correction to be made in commentary 2)The destiny is our conformation to the image of Jesus.
Sorry for the mistakes.

3)There are three aspects of salvation-Justification,Sanctification & Glorification-all theological terms.
4)Read Rom.6:22.
i)Justification is deliverance from the presence of sin.Rom.3:24,25.It is an immediate process.
ii)Sanctification is deliverance from the power of sin.We are sanctified by the Holy Spirit as we obey His word.
iii)Glorification is the deliverance of sin.it takes place at the coming of Jesus Christ. It is an immediate process.

The house of the faith-only-ists is built on sand. Their house will inevitably fall. They have not founded it on the rock, which is true faith in Christ Jesus. True faith does not say “I do not have to obey.” True faith, rather knows that which Peter says in 1st Peter 2:7 “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”
