1. Nehemiah has “cleaned house”
a. Both inside and out
2. Now that the cleansing has been done
a. The work of the church can continue
b. Just as God originally prescribed it
3. Nehemiah appears to have lived
a. With one foot here on earth doing God‘s will
b. And one foot at the Bema seat of Christ
c. Knowing that for everything he will be judged
4. May we ALL be thus-like minded
a. And seek to honor Jesus in our lives
5. Nehemiah again prays for God‘s remembrance of him
a. To be merciful and compassionate upon his soul
b. On account of the work he has done for God
