a. For a STRONG NATIONAL DEFENSE
2. National pacifism is not taught in the Bible
a. But is a product of man‘s wisdom
3. This also makes a case for PERSONAL PROTECTION
a. To defend ourselves and our loved ones
4. The RIGHT to defend ourselves
a. Does not come from the 2nd Amendment
b. But right from the Word of God
5. Jesus taught personal defense
a. Then said he unto them, But now, he that has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack: and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one (Luke 22:36)
