1. Those in authority when angry
a. Can put the fear of God in you
b. As they can cause you
c. To you have a very bad day
2. Policemen, bosses and parents
a. Immediately come to mind
b. As those who can instantly
c. Change your life for the worse
d. If you anger them
3. If you are the type to flagrantly resist their authority
a. And get them riled up against you
4. You have pretty much sealed your fate
a. And you are in BIG trouble
5. Jesus is the One Person we should NOT rebel against
a. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him (Ps 2:12)

Once again we see the ‘divine right to rule’ verses. The monarchs love these. Obey and no not question authority! They are so wise.
According to this, Christians should not question President Obama or their government. It is a sin. Amazingly, a lot of them promote the ‘Tea Party’ agenda in their churches.
I am not saying the ‘tea party’ movement is wrong. I agree with them. It is wrong to promote it in the church.
