1. Those who exercise discernment and skill
a. Have saved up and bought items
b. Of luxury which are meant to last
2. If you go to their house
a. They have a upscale kitchen
b. Fine dining room furniture
c. And an elegant living room
3. They take good care of what they own
a. As they know the value of it
b. And want it to last
4. Then you have the family
a. Who has NO such regard
b. For the things they buy
5. Even if it is a nice living room furniture
a. It will be ruined within 6 months
b. Their dining room table is all scratched up
c. And nothing in their kitchen works right
6. Granted, a home is not meant to be a museum
a. Where nothing can be touched
7. But a prudent person takes care
a. Of their OWN belongings
b. And of course those of others
8. They also teach their children
a. To respect household goods
b. And NOT abuse them
