The heading of the Psalm is “To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.” Not only does David lament his adultery that he committed with Bathsheba, but he is also taught wisdom by the unborn child in her womb in verse 5 as he himself confesses in verse 6.
