Wow, Tiuche, your erudition shines!

So apparently you are not capable of debating either! Do you realize you have lost every single debate we’ve had?

No, I’m not curious. Your insults tell me enough about you.

So are you capable of debating this verse? So far you’ve said nothing about it. I’m sure you’ll find the USA in this verse, lol!

Old man at the doorway…trying to challenge me to a race…but haven’t you notice I never called you a FOOL? You should dig deep why i may term your ways foolish or stupid but I never called you a FOOL directly. Are you not curious?

Tiuche, he he! It’s obvious I got under your skin and I’m tearing your heart out. That’s what happens to people who blabber out comments without knowing what they’re talking about. Look what a lousy fool you have reduced yourself into.

The OLD HAG knows he has but a short time! His MENTOR was given 42 months to speak blasphemies & puff-up words, and that time would soon be over!

Roland:I agree in your post that the Bible is foolishness to them that are natural minded… we one in this because this is what the HOly Bible says:

1 Corinthians 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

1 Corinthians 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,

1 Corinthians 1:24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

2 Corinthians 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Re post 11. And who are you, Roland? Are you a supernatural man? How is it that I will always see the Bible as vague and contradictory while you seem to understand it better than Jesus?

Charles (Post #10): The natural man with a genius IQ cannot understand spiritual matters. To the unregenerate, the Holy Bible will always be vague and contradictory.

Roland, you said in Post 9, “The natural man cannot understand spiritual matters so everything is always vague or contradictory in the Holy Bible.” Many things ARE vague and contradictory in the Bible and that is exactly why an intelligent person cannot buy them. An intelligent man recognizes a wishy washy prophecy whether it was made by a Biblical prophet or by Nostradamus. A Bible fanatic does not. A Bible fanatic will rationalize any vagueness and any contradiction rather than face the truth.

Charles (Post #8): “Prophecies are always so vague that they are open to any imagination.” I have heard this statement from many unbelievers such as you. The natural man cannot understand spiritual matters so everything is always vague or contradictory in the Holy Bible. If you had the knowledge of every book in every library in the world you would not be able to rationalize yourself into believing in Jesus Christ as Savior. Salvation is by faith not book knowledge.

Ronald McDonald, regardless of what 2 Pet. 1:20 says, people make their own interpretations. Your friend Tiuche is a good example with his wild interpretations of Daniel and others. Prophecies are always so vague that they are open to any imagination.

Charles Fiott (Post #4 & #6): “Like all other prophecies, this could be interpreted in any way one desires.” God’s Word disagrees with you: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of one’s own interpretation” (2 Pet. 1:20).

My statement that this verse could be interpreted in any way one desires is ABSOLUTELY TRUE necasue, in fact, it HAS been interpreted in a multitude of ways. Even Napoleon was ddrawn into one of the many interpretations I have seen. So why not Nostradamus? When it comes to prophecies it seems that anything goes.

Charles (Post #4) “…this could be interpreted in any way one desires…”

Your statement is not true. If I said this statement is about Nostradamus the world would laugh. Charles, to interpret correctly you have to know Herman quite well.

Like all other prophecies, this could be interpreted in any way one desires. But something was supposed to happen in 42 months. Now there are a multitude of “explanations” of this, but not one explains the 42 MONTHS.

My guess is that John was hoping the Roman rule would end in 42 months. But of course no Bible fanatic is going to agree with me because that did not happen.

It was the Caliph, centered in Constantinople.

42 months of 30 days each, equaling the number 1260. 1260 is the number of years from the start of the Muslim calendar until the return of the Jews to Israel
