Verses like this one prompt me to ask “why wouldn’t God’s grace be with us, since every true believer is indwelt by God’s Holy Spirit”? In prayer we often thank God that we can “come into His presence”. Is not God with us 24/7 as he says he will be?

“Charis” is the Greek word which has been translated to “Grace” in the N.T.
It means literally that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm and loveliness.
Grace is “unmerited favor”.
We are saved by grace through faith.Read Eph.2:8.
Someone defined “Grace” like this:-”G-od R-edeems(R-eceives)A-t C-hrist’s E-xpense.”
By whom also we have access by faith unto this grace wherein we stand…”
Rom.5:5.
Paul says,”But by the grace of God I am that I am:and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain…”.1 Cor.15:10.
And he said unto me,My grace is SUFFICIENT for thee;for my strength is made perfect in weakness…”2 Cor.12:9.But he giveth MORE GRACE…giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6.
Read Matthew 28:20.Jesus keeps His promise. He is always with His Children.
He is Emmanuel.
..he hath said,”I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Heb 13:5
Barry,The children of God will not be forsaken because of His promise of His presence with them.
