Romans 10: 17 Commentary

WORDS THAT LEADS HEARER TOWARDS FAITH IN GOD

Notice that for those of a good and sincere heart, for those whose heart hunger for what is right…the WORDS OF GOD will profit them. It will bear fruit towards the hearer of those Words. while one with an ill will and who will does not desires good will not profit from the Words unless he/she humbles self before the Word!

Jesus Advises His believers on how to profit from the Words we hear, He said:
Mark 24: verses24-25
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

25For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

Longtime readers of vbvbc are aware how some of those who have ill will towards God tried to turn this site into their breeding grounds. They wanted to turn the hearts of people from God; their hearts were not right in the sight of God…for His Word did not profit them. Instead of talking to bring people towards all that is good, beautiful, orderly and hopeful….they tried to talk people toward despair, hopelessness and self righteousness in the guise of enlightenment and freedom of speech! They wanted to plant darkness and chaos and enslavement of people in their sins and crooked thinking…

THE STUDY OF THE GOOD BOOK SHOULD LEAD INTO FAITH & ALL GOODNESS

“Faith, love and blessing comes from hearing or reading the Word of God. But if our study leads us to the loss of our love, loss of blessings & faith in God, WE SHOULD BE AWARE that somehow, somewhere, someone sidetracked us (1 timothy 4:1). ”

“If we go round like the Israelites did min the wilderness of Sin in our study-learning but never coming to- then we are dwindling in unbelief (Numbers 13-14). If we begin to think of some Bible stories as absurd or lies; if we begin to hate God in our hearts and think that God could not and will not forgive us for our sins…then WE HAVE BEEN SIDETRACKED …our study shoud lead us to see God not as a cruel tyrant but a LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER who values every creatures he made!”
