THE LAW ALREADY EXISTED AS LONG AS SIN HAS EXISTED, FOR AS IT IS WRITTEN ”
for where no law is, there is no transgression.
It works wrath…meaning it results to the death of transgressors or penalty for them lawbreakers; of course there are laws which when transgress does not lead to death and vice versa.
If any one sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this.[1]John 5:16.
Sins that lead to the death punishment are enumerated in the old testament and are repeated in the New Testament; such as those mentioned in some verse of Leviticus 18.
