PARABLE OF TWO BEAST INSIDE A MAN
Inside each man is a sheep and a wolf…and both are fighting each other to dominate…and who will win? Here is the answer from the Cherokee Parable:

An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life…
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
“One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.
“The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
“This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old chief simply replied, “The one you feed.”
Inside each of us is a fight between the old and the new…and we feed the new by:
Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God

Believers in salvation through the LORD Jesus Christ will struggle with the sin nature. The sin nature was not removed at the moment of faith alone in Christ alone. All sin involves a personal choice. Will I follow Divine norms and standards as taught in the Word of God or will I follow my own standards?
